Effect of orgasm on athletic performance???

From what I’ve read semen contains little protein and having an orgasm doesn’t lower TEST levels, however I’ve “heard” that there is a negative effect on the nervous system. Does anyone know if there is any scientific research on this subject? or post your opinions on this… I’m totally willing to give up sex if it will make me a better athlete, I just need some proof.

Read Charlie Francis’ first High Octane Training column. Game day sex is a good thing!

“I’m totally willing to give up sex if it will make me a better athlete, I just need some proof.”

lion, I’m very, very worried about you!

I don’t know about you, but sex makes me feel good. If I feel good, I’ll perform better in whatever I do.

Sounds like a win-win situation. Now, if I could only find someone to have sex with, I’d be a happy, healthy, high performance machine!

All evidence seems to suggest that sex raises testosterone levels and increases athletic performance. However, this doesn’t make too much sense to me. You see, after my last marathon sex session with Mandy Blank I went into a coma, and woke up only to find my pants down, holding a porno mag in my hands with a bill on the floor for all of the LSD I had taken the night before. I could just respond differently, though…

My first reation was a big “scoff” Lion. But I relaxed and remembered you really want to know something and thats what we do here. My “opinion”…there is No performance enhancement from giving up sex altogether to be the best athlete you can. If you have a moral issue then I can see where it would drain energy( emotionally)Physiologically speaking just consider the exspense of energy for orgasm the same as any other physical manuever. You can tell when you have over done it just like over traing.

As T.C. and Tim have stated many times and in many different articles “don’t sweat the small stuff”. Unless you are planning on hours of wild sex before every workout or atheletic event, I’m sure you’ll be fine. Besides, there are many more studies showing the positive effects of a healthy sex life on your health.

Besides, if you are having that much sex that it would wear you out and be detrimental to atheletic performance, you probably wouldn’t even NEED to work-out. Plus, all your buddies would have to start calling you ‘Wilt’.

I think sex deprivation could be useful before a competition if used like this: your girlfriend just bought a sexy vynil suit and shaved like a porn star. You have no sex for 2 weeks and she promises you the juiciest, most extreme BJ ever if you win, and you can send your semen wherever you want. That would work for me.

Ok well sounds like some of these theories need to be tested. I’m willing to put be the guinea pig here. Any ladies out there willing to help me test this sex before workout’s and competition thing contact me, we’ll set something up.
LOL!
