eating out

i have to wake up at 4:10 a.m. to get to work on time. i work most days until 6:00 p.m. this makes it difficult to eat properly. i do pack 2 or 3 mrp’s, but i’m always trying to add mass and obviously need more to eat. it’s easy going to mcdonalds, but i don’t want to add fat. can anybody help me out with a high protein, low carb diet which can be obtained by eating out? thanks in advance, your brother in muscle, greig

i bring boiled eggs to work with me.

Broiled chicken sandwhiches with a side of salad.

I don’t know where you live or the selection of restraunts available to you, but you can definately eat right while eating out. The sub chains (subway, quizono’s, etc.) offer chicken breast sandwiches. At some restraunts, you’ll have to special order food (i.e. have them remove fatty ingrediants). It’s just a matter of being creative and looking around.

I cook in bulk once a week and freeze it all. Then, each day I just take four prepared meals to work with me and chow down every three hours.

Cook your meals the night before and carry a cooler with you at all times. If you can eat three solid meals throughout the day alternated with three meal replacements you’d be doing pretty good. Please don’t tell me you don’t have time to cook. Cooking your own meals will also save you some money.

My favorite fastfood meal is chicken tacos with no cheese. If you don’t eat the tortilla you can have this on a ketogenic diet too plus you get a serving of veggies with the lettuce and tomatoe’s.

When I have to do that same thing, for example, at Wendys I’ll order a triple meat burger with cheese with just the bread, no mayo, mustard or vegetables. I take off the bread and just eat the patties and I also order a big serving of chili with cheese along with a huge container of water. People think I’m weird when they see I ordered a huge burger and I take off the bread but who cares.
