You are right DCA, the last one was mostly just two fingers, tore the nail off of one.
This was the whole fucking hand, and it’s my job to preach to the other guys to be careful.
We get a lot of hand injuries in my business, and a lot of them are fractures.

Thanks Willy, yea I was feeling like it was coming around again, except for the shoulders.
Good news though, was in the gym on Tuesday. Hand felt well enough to try some stuff.
Did 14 sets of arms and shoulders, I didn’t bother to write down the workout. Still a little swollen, and tender, but I think I can get back at it now.
More good news today, I found out the event on August 15 is now free. A 20 dollar membership fee for the ADFPF and your in. I was debating doing that meet because the shoulder thing has become significant and keeping me from much pressing. It woulda cost me 80 bucks to get in for single event, deadlift. Now I think I might do the ironman event, bench and dead, and not worry if my bench isn’t great, it’s only 20 bucks if I suck. My bench has kinda sucked at the last two meets anyway.

Thanks guys, John, I’m a supervisor for a company that makes the best deli meats around. We’ve set records two of the last three weeks. I run the smokehouse area on second shift. 14 houses, with the capacity to cook 180-200k in 8 hours. All the product is on 4x4 racks that get pushed around by hand. Tight quarters, and lots of racks, if you’re not paying attention can get hazardous to your hands.

Thanks Eco! I checked the entry form stuck on the wall at the gym and the meet is Aug.15, so I’ve got another week to get ready.
Hand is feeling better, still hurts like hell when I bump it on stuff.

Eco, my shoulder is pretty screwed up, I haven’t benched in a while. But I am thinking I’ll go ahead and do the ironman. My last meet I pulled a new PR of 407, I’ll be looking to beat that,
Yesterday got the cinder blocks out for some farmers.
Today I went in to see how the shoulder handled some benching, not too well.

there’s pain. Guess I’d better find out what’s wrong, I’m not sure I wanna know.
