im kind of getting conflicting info on what percentages to use on speed/dynamic days without the use of any equipment. could someone point me towards an article or just give some real world advice.
im just starting west side training and using a template which is goint to incorporate some olympic lifts as well(i just cant give up my snatches).
as i understand it, i should probably be using around 60% on speed days because im not using a shirt or suit? is that a good percentage to start experimenting with? another article i read had %s around 75-80%. that seems too high for real explosiveness. i should be able to watch a westside video soon and im going to watch their bar speed and just try to mimic that with whatever percent gives me the correct speed. what do you think?
