okay, this was one bizarre, I hope I can explain it well…this fat guy was doing stiff leg deads on a 5 inch platform, fine, that’s all and great. BUT, at the bottom stretch with the bar close to his feet, he rocked the bar forward twice, then back, THEN came up. It was the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen, it looked like he was going to tear his rotator cuff out.
Ok tonight in the locker room this dude was drying his pubic hair around his dick with the hair dryer. He took about two minutes or so. I had my back to him changing into my workout clothes. I’d look over my shoulder and there he was still drying the hair around his pecker. When I finished my workout I took a swim and a shower. You can bet your glutes I used a different hair dryer!!

Theres this one guy at my gym, I have no fucking idea what he is doing. He grabs the 5lb chrome weights and some moist paper towels, holds the weight with crossed arms and then puts them behind his back with his arms crossed, sometimes he spins.
Also there was this one fat lady that was wearing spandex coming up way above her thighs (imagine a 200lb woman with 25 inch thighs all fat, actually never mind), who proceeded to grab some weights and start doing twists with them (literally holding the dumbbells and twisting around).

Yes! I did it at the one on ZhongXiao E. road. I usually go to the one in Tien Mu but once in a while I go to the ZhongXiao one and when I do I always bring my camera with the hope of catching her again.
I would say that all the extraneous movement is going to burn more than 80 calories, since she’s obviously doing more work than if she just walked 1 kph. Is she as hot in person or is she one of those older Asian ladies that’s cute until you get up close and realize she’s 84?
I haven’t seen this in my gym but it’s pretty rediculous.
I’m willing to bet he can’t even deadlift that much weight.
120 pound asian kids in the weight room at school doing db/bb curls by rocking back and forth violently to get a few reps off momentum then bragging about it to their friends even smaller than them.
That lady on the treadmill isn’t nuts. She’s just practicing for the next OK Go video. That’s gotta be the funniest stuff I’ve ever seen though.

A buddy of mine told me that if the treadmills to her left and right are open, she’ll turn those on too and hop from one to the other!
She also will keep pressing the speed buttons up and down 0.1 kph at a time as though she’s a DJ or something…I mean like 4 seconds at 1.7 kph or whatever then up to 1.8 for 5 seconds. I guess she likes the beeping.

I go to the one near Taipei Main Station…not sure if that’s the same as the Zhong Xiao East Road one or not. She must be changing her routine every now and then because when I last saw her she mainly did that crazy twist/sideways hop/clap your hands thing all the while making the treadmill slower for 10 seconds, then performing a double hop, and then making the treadmill faster again, and repeat. It’s almost as if she’s imagining herself on a never-ending catwalk in a music video from hell.
Come to think of it, I tend to see some bizarre shit in California Fitness. Once I saw a four man smith machine bench press team. One guy was benching on the smith machine, while three of his friends stood near the bar nonchalantly chatting and curling the bar with him for every rep.

This thread must be cursed though because today I had an encounter with stupidity in the gym tonight.
I was going to deadlifts so I put the bar on the pegs outside the power rack to load some plates. I decided to go grab my water bottle quick and on my way back some guy came up to the bar and started putting on 5’s to do curls. I just grabbed another bar and got to work. To top it off he ran off somewhere after the loaded the weight and came back with a weight belt on. I almost lost it right there.
The Taipei chick could definitely do a “sit and spin” for me. Someone get a face pic please!
