Chest day
Bit gassed from yesterday’s 1 rm and had crappy sleep but allgoods still got in a solid session, however was feeling a little weaker on bench.

Pec deck 3×12
Bench press 60kg

Was supposed to be 5 on third set but was pretty gassed and didnt want to sacrifice form to get the reps.

Incline dumbell bench 3×5 25kg
1×10 20kg

Seated chest press machine 4×12

Dumbell flies 3×10 holy crap havent done these in like 10 months and damn the mmc and pump from these was insane, i cant explain it but they just felt sooooooooooo good lol. This was The Most iv felt my chest work, out of every exercise I’ve done.
Cable machine was taken and was gassed from yesterday so just called it a day lel

50 reps of abbs work (hanging leg raises)

Welcome to the college life, my friend. Except don’t forget the pressure from outside and inside about your GPA, and possible loss of scholarships if you don’t deliver results while you have certain professors with incredibly unrealistic expectations (fuck breadth classes).

Lol, luckily for me i have a few years left till university etc ( if i go down that path). Im year ten atm.

Ehh. Depends. In America it’s all over the fucking place. You’ve got folks graduating with 4.0 grade scores, coming from Harvard and the like, and are working minimum wage jobs because they can’t find anything they actually went to school for. You’ve got folks with a mere highschool diploma, running full on businesses, making well into 6 figures.

Not to mention you got the kids like me, who worked with what they had and transferred a shit ton of credits to a four year, and milked the shit out of government aid.

There’s a shit ton of careers generally across the board who don’t care what your grade point average is. A doctor who graduated with a C, is still a doctor. Sometimes the kids who don’t do so well on paper, do very good in real time, and with hands on. Vice Versa you’ve got the kids who do good on paper, but fall to pieces when it comes to anything that isn’t on paper.

And fuck each and every last one of the majority of professors. They know good and well college students have a shit ton of other stuff to do, especially the ones with entire families to take care of. I’m a solid B student. And most times it’s because I have other shit I like to do, so I do said shit I like to do. I could have an A, but a grade doesn’t trump me being happy. Call it what you wish, but I’ve read too many stories of college kids fucking killing themselves over this shit. Having an Education is great and mostly necessary, but not to the extent of thinking your life is literally going to end if you don’t have the highest average of well over 1,000 other students to the nearest tenth of a decimal. Fuck that. And fuck that once more.

Okayy so most brutal leg workout iv ever done (damn you john meadows and your evil soul sucking techniques)
Leg curls warmup 2×20
1×15 40kg
1×12 50kg
1×8 60kg

Drop set and go back to the weight you did for 12 reps and do ten. 50kg

Drop the weight again and do ten reps
40kg
Drop again and do ten reps. Idek

Now up the weight a bit and do 25 partials only going up 3-4 inches. 40kg i think.

This made me want to leave the gym and go home. the hamstring burn was excruciating.

Front squats
Using a three finger clean grip because dont have mobility for full hand yet.

Okay so cues for this i use are
Bar on clavicles, clean grip hands just outside shoulder width
Triceps parallel to the ground
Brace unrack
3 steps

Feet outside hip width
Feet slightly pointed outwards
Take breath,chest up and brace
Break at knees and squat
Then die. ( yah nearly passed out on ten rep set lol)

Yahh i really like front squats, they feel way better on my lower back and knees then back squats ever did and they pumped up my quads a shit tonne and also worked my glutes nicely too… Also working the upper back as well is great.

John meadows leg press 100kg was all that was needed.
Medium on the platform, feet shoulder width apart3×10 3 second eccentric then explode up on concentric. (These were a mighty evil exercise after my already pumped quads)

Romanian deadlift 3×10 60kgconventional deadlift stance and grip. i felt these in my hamstrings alot more then usual and the stretch was better. Credit that to the leg curls.

Leg extensions 3×15 50kg
R.i.p quads

1×20 cable pull throughs 40kg

Seates calf raise machine 4×20

Awesome soul destroying leg workout.

Lol them stairs are gonna get me man :cry::scream::scream:. Hopefully i dont get too much doms, i generally don’t get much if any. (very fast recovery rate). Il let you all know when i wake up tomorrow.

Yeah man ouchh. Haha the worse thing is probably getting out of bed in the morning, thats when you know if you’re gonna be a cripple for a day or two lol.

My wife’s dad is a psychology professor and from the great people on rate my professor, he’s really hard. He makes it hard as shit on purpose though and treats it more as a weed out class. He came from a family of ten, was in extreme poverty, had a far from perfect family/childhood/life, and got a PhD with two kids and across the country, and he graduated on time. I am similar to you, and am BEYOND TRASH at taking tests. I can convey what i know, but am terrible at showing it on paper. I get terrible test anxiety and it just doesn’t come easy to me. I don’t get majority of professors, but having her dad around me for a decade now, I do feel differently about them because a lot of them have been through a lot. They think you should too to grow more as a person, I guess.

I can see your point, but if I was a teacher, the LAST thing I would ever try to do would be to add more stressful shit to a college students life.

I’m planning on becoming a psychiatrist, and it just rubs me the wrong way when others think you have to suffer the exact same way they did to build character. Hell, that you even have to suffer at all. I know quite a few folks who’ve had a very good childhood, came from wealth, are still down to earth, humble, not stuck up and honest as all out doors.

I’m not really bad a taking tests, I do fairly well. I just fuck off assignments, and homework like no ones business. Because I get how to apply it, and I also want to watch 10+ Hours of movies.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but i just don’t agree with that. Especially when everyone is different, and handles stress differently, and it’s one thing to be a rigorous and hard teacher, it’s another one to be a good teacher. Not saying your father in law isn’t. I’m sure he knows his stuff, but the vast majority of other teachers.

I definitely see where you are coming from. I do agree with most of what you are saying and ou do not come off mean or rude to me at all. We all have different opinions and thoughts on things and that’s the point of being a part of forums and socializing in general.
