Sorry to hear about you going through this shit Duke.
I often have a similar mindset after a stressful day at work, but here is a quote from a recent TNation article from Paul Carter that I though was appropriate:

So it may actually be more beneficial for you to take this as a rest day and find a way to just relax and enjoy yourself.
@T3hPwnisher very true! Not sure how much flowing testosterone I had in my early teens, I left school pretty much a foot shorter than all my mates. Then one day in my 20s I was like âshit when did I get taller than you guys!â
Suppose so and avoiding a fight is the better thing to do but when you outweigh your classmates by 30kg things are smoother flowing in my experience. Stay safe Duke and donât listen to me lol.
No way man ! Thats not out of line, i dont really talk to people much about all my problems, but i have a few mates and family i cantalk to and i have had counselling before. It helped a little so i might get counselling again. Thanks man

I conpletely agree with this. Aside from the dangers of it id much rather avoid getting into trouble. Unfortunately yesterday i was just on no sleep and had no tolerance whatsoever so i just went rage mode.

Yeah, when i posted that i was a bit enraged and sleep deprived , i will still use it as motivation to train hard haha but yeah i generally will only fight if someone assaults me first because well what do i do at a school situation? If i walk away from being punched everyone will call me a wimp and il be bullied.
You will look back on this in 5 or less years and laugh. Others opinions do not matter, especially on some perceived notion of masculinity.
I can think of a list of people who were the âtough guysâ in high school. None of them have had any lasting impact on my life. I can just about guarantee it will be the same for you.
Iâm not saying take abuse and roll over. However, if you ask someone to explain their conflict, they usually quickly see that physical confrontation is silly.

I am very good at talking people out of being aggressive towards myself or my mates but if conflict is eminent I usually go with âok go for it, but Iâm a really dirty fighter.â that usually gets them thinking about what ârulesâ i am going to break.
It helps to be quietly confident in your abilities and to be positively assertive in all your communication.
I like that action line lol, generally i find if people annoy you and you ignore them they stop if you dont give them a reaction. My prpblem sometimes is that i react.

Todays training /nutrition
Bulgarian split squats all the racks were taken so i decided to try these
4Ă6 bodyweight ( need to adjust to them and the form etc)
Superset with lat pulldowns 4Ă6
Leg curls 4Ă6 73kg
Leg press superset with lunges
Farmers walks and some core stuff
I wouldlike to do a triset of leg curls/leg press/ and lunges to save time but unfortunately people steal the leg press etc as soon as you get off it. Very rudeâŠ
Oh and another bad thing today. Man i hope this really stops because before the weekend i was doing ok.
I got a letter sent home from school because i didnt finish an English assignment and my aunty says until i do better at school no gym diet. So well back to eating whatever i can find. This extremely triggers me. I like routine and i need to eat my diet to gain weight and strength. Im pissed and honestly the demands of school are stupid. I already had a bunch of assigments i struggled to get done and missing one shouldnt mean my only thing i look forward to in the day ( gym) is ruined by not having my diet.
I guess i shouldnât really complain about this to much, il just try harder to get things done and get my diet back on track as soon as possible.
Whilst it may seem like an unfair lesson try to consider what you can change to make sure you donât miss another assignment. After all knowone made you miss it. You have years of training ahead of you and if you continue to be consistent and work hard over the long run a few meals wonât matter for shit. Focus on planning your time to get your work done and then fit in your training around it. Plan shorter workouts when you know you have school work to finish. This wonât hamper your progress and if you plan it right, some shorter workouts where you program one exercise e.g deadlifts and focus on some heavier weights with low reps may help. Try and look at these issues as opportunities to get better and remain positive.

i consider it to be a bit of an over reaction, but she just wants me to succeed thats all.
Yeah iv started reducing my workouts significantly by doing supsersets and reducing rest times. So far its been good to get some more study time in. I mainly just have to improve my work ethic in classes such as Art, media, sport, woowdwork etc because i put lots of effort in english , maths , science, hass ( main subjects) but i slack of in the others.
Life Is always about balance, for some classes doing enough to get by will be fine as long as you do good in the ones you like or are naturally good at.
