The head game is the worst part about missing workouts or diet. It always throws me for a loop, even if I didn’t do much damage at all. Hope you feel better so you can get back in the gym.

so no go on even cardio today. being even the slightest bit ill pisses me off sooooo bad. the weather is gorgeous and at a minimum, i could be doing yard work. i think tomorrow i should be feeling decent enough for something. i’m not too bad, but kinda achy. no, this isn’t the 'whiner’s blog" so i’ll shut up for now.

yes, mom, flawless upper body program. someone had the 40’s…i just hit that PR last time i did that routine. i figure i’m going for as heavy as possible with the high reps and little rest. some days i think i will switch it up, yesterday i needed some aerobic challenge.
kimba-i wasn’t going to go for the burn when my girl parts were already on fire from cramps…fuck that. and i hate direct ab shit. i try to get ‘core’ training in. but i will admit, i have pretty much followed the 2 days of minimal ab work to say that i’ve stuck to the program, except for the leg day…i own that! ![]()

did some cardio today and cooked.
making homemade cream of asparagus soup. had it last night at the aunt’s and had to replicate it…MMMMMMMM! not made of cream; includes asparagus, broccoli, yukon potato, jalapeno, onion,leeks, garlic and a little bacon. still in the process, have to blend all the stuffs together now…
made Brussels sprout au gratin. sprouts, leeks, some bacon, gruyere cheese, topped with panko crumbs and chopped walnuts.
i rarely make comfort food. but i did…and it’s freakin’ dee-lish.

ok, that being said, limewater does reduce inflammation. it also helps raise your body’s pH. Viruses can only penetrate (to replicate) your cells if their environment is slightly acidic, therefore weakening your cell membranes. in a neutral or slightly alkaline environment, the viruses starve and die. but, you still get the antibodies.
worked in a pharmacy for about 8 years… been sick twice. maybe, MAYBE, a third time i dont remember.
the extra vitamin C doesnt hurt, either.
