Thursday, Halloween and it is 25oC! T-shirt and short weather.
I went for a super fun MTB ride, they had blown the leaves and with the rain we got on Tuesday the trails were in great shape. I did 7 runs, worked on my brain and conquer some features that had me riding around.
I feel like my shoulder is getting stronger except in the end of the ROM. My knee is still on and off but I can manage it pretty well.
Sunday, finally sleeping normally, stupid time change.
The week end was a mix of biking and trail clearing.
We got our main trails all cleared on one side of the creek. We have 2 smaller trails left and all the other side to do. We should be able to snow shoe this winter.
Nice little leg work out. Adding more volume for now.
Tomorrow, I work the late shift again but it seem like the morning will be too cold to bike the trails. If it is sunny, I may venture to the pump track or skate park.
Way too much frost to bike, even for the pump track.
So a walk in the back yard it was, with my Ozzy.
Body Weight still dropping. 144lb fully dress. So estimate that I am getting near 140lb. But I am not so hungry any more. I am slowly adding a calories in.
Got out of work, start driving car felt strange. Stop get out, sure enough I got a flat. I can change a tire no problem, well shit, I canāt lift the damn thing at the moment. I had to call the BF for help to lift the spare out of the trunk and put the other back in. I did the rest.
I still did my upper body work out.
BD floor press, Bent over row, OHP, Lat pull down, Tri push down and Curls.
I still feel the weakest in the floor press. I do the occasional db bench press but mobility is limited so I am going very light on those.
Physio morning and afternoon work.
I had a pretty annoying raynaud attack over the last few days.
I had no issue for years, I do get some mild episodes but nothing that hurt so much. Not much is known to help but my physio mention that my work out are a lot less intense at the moment and because of the time of the year I bike a lot less. So maybe add some hi intensity interval cardio and see if it help some.
Road bike is wn option, I will see if the rower is ok with the shoulder but for today it was a pump track session. My heart go pumping hard, sweat was pooring too. It was fun to ride the dj and I notice that the track has lights!
I have raynauds too. Itās not a thing most of the time, but damn when it is - it is awful!! During the coldest parts of winter (I live in South Dakota), I sit in the sauna at the gym for 15 minutes every day and that seems to help for me. Iām glad the high intensity workouts are helping you!!
Today we made the trip to the National cycling center for an indoor pump track session.
Some of the guys riding were very impressive. The girls and ladies are no fun as they donāt even try. They are more there to make the bf happy and cheer them on.
We both had fun, aside from the other ladies, we were the slowest but had fun. This track is much different then the one we ride normally.
I am getting near increasing the weights on OHP, Bench and curls.
I find it so hard because the intensity is so low and yet it feel heavy but not like before.
That maybe why I want to go biking more because I can get some intensity.
