Been reading and lurking on this website for as long as i can remember now.
Ive been training for around 3 years, first year and a half was really stop start down to making pathetic excuses. Since i realised what i’d been doing wrong things have got a lot better.
Until November 2011 and i suffered a pretty bad injury. I play football (soccer to the doodles) and Ive always had trouble with my knees. Someone done a naughty tackle on me and i ended up dislocating my knee and doing my ACL. Not a great feeling, had a full leg cast (incorrectly proscribed) for 6 weeks, couldnt train or nothing.
Since then i ended up turning down an operation to fix the knee and just quitting football instead.
Decided to focus on the gym and my lifts, which are as it stands
Dead:165kg
Squat 120kg
Bench 100kg
BOR 70kg
OHP 60kg
Ive not really put much empasis on my lifts of late, so ive decided to log my progress and return from injury.
To add a spanner in the works i have a terribly bad pain in my lower back at the moment. So ive booked a consultation with a physio to see if we can fix it.
Ive started some basic swimming to help with the recovery which has been great
Friday i went for
10 lengths breast no legs
10 Back no arms
10 front crawl
10 back
repeated 4 times
Tomorrow ive got a date with a big hill and my legs

Broke into someone’s crib and they were using it, thought they wouldnt mind (thats a joke)
