BW was at 220 this morning. I’m betting I’ll be under 210 by the end of the month.
That will be, and this is the last time I’m going to say this (promise), the lightest I’ve been in 6 years.
For reference, this was me back in 06. In the pics in this thread I was near 200 lbs, but 3 weeks before they were taken I was at 185.
Quick explanation: I had the name spartanpower because I played for the CWRU Spartans in college. I wanted to change it after I’d been out of school for a while, and didn’t realize you could change your handle without opening a new account. It was about 4 years later that I realized you could, when the guy formerly known as DJHT changed his to Derek542.

Yeah that still strikes me as odd. I had no idea that BW was a relevant marker of a good physique, especially when there were pics right fucking there that showed how undeveloped and chubby I was. I only mentioned it for reference, not as a brag.
Hell, I first hit 200 lbs as a junior in HS so I wasn’t aware that it was such a big deal to some people.

Yeah my piss reeks like ammonia. I don’t think my sweat smells any different though, at least not yet.
I buy all my protein online. 10lbs is like $93 or something. I always get the chocolate. Anything else tastes like shit to me, especially the vanilla. Rocky road isn’t that bad but why bother, I just chug the stuff anyhow. Pretty much any big online retailer has it for roughly the same price. I buy 20 lbs at a time to save on shipping. I’ve been going through it pretty fast with APD. 10 lbs only lasts me like 8-9 days or something ridiculous like that.
This is my new favorite song. I’m not even remotely kidding.
BW still 220 this morning. Ate 5 fucking lbs of pork and beef ribs last night. It was probably the best meal I ever had. I felt amazing about 20 minutes after eating it, like I had been irradiated with gamma rays or something. Jamie is a goddamned genius.

No I haven’t done any Crossfit stuff for quite a while. No particular reason, I just started using simpler methods that got the same effect, like the Prowler, hill sprints, sledge hammer work, and battling rope intervals. I honestly haven’t even done any of that stuff in quite a while. Just been using diet and weight training volume/frequency to get lean this time around.
The CF Games competitors are pretty impressive though. Froning is a fuckin beast and a half. He’s sponsored by BSN now too.

Arms were actually sore today going into this workout. We’ll see how they feel after my Rampage day.
BW is stuck at 220 this week, mainly because I’m pretty sure I need to be consuming a fiber supp. I feel like there is about 3 lbs of digested meat sitting in my intestines. I thought the high fat would take care of this, but apparently not. The modest amount of veggies I’ve been eating isn’t cutting the mustard either.
Weighed 216 yesterday morning before my carb up/Rampage and 224 today. Exactly the same as last week. If I don’t end up below 216 this Sunday I will make some tweaks to the carb up. It’s the only possible reason for not making progress this early.
