Forgot that part. That being said, I highly suggest you replace that promise with something that matters to her, but isn’t something you feel like cheating your way out of.

I really can’t say what I’d do in that situation, because I’d never have made that promise in the first place.

But I would say in general, trust comes first, understanding comes second. If the issue is “you’re cheating on me by looking at porn”, it’s one thing. If the issue is “you promised you wouldn’t, and you did it anyway”/“you lied to me and I can’t trust you”, it’s another.

Which means I’m going to shut up now, because I simply don’t know enough about the situation.
