Do Fat People Piss You Off a Little?

Right. My last dog was an awesome creature, but in the end, I buried her in the back yard with her kitty cat buddies.

If I did that with my son, 10 years in prison, minimum.

We had a dog named Spike. He was a Cockapoo. My parents wanted a Bulldog but when my dad brought home the mutt from the bar they named him Spike. He got hit by a car when we were on vacation and passed. We wrapped him up in garbage bags and drove him five hundred miles home and buried him in the back yard.

A few months later, we got another Cockapoo and she lived for seventeen years. When she passed, my dad buried her in the backyard next to Spike.

A few years later, my maternal grandfather passed and my brother said “I think dad is going to have a heart attack digging that hole.”

Yes they do. They snore really loud and can be louder than a near-by party. And if they spent all the time they use looking for excuses to workout and for meal prep they would be at least few pounds lighter.

I have resisted posting in this thread because there are several people in my family that are fat, and yes, they do piss me off.

I am trying to be all Zen and shit, but the fat bastards can’t shut their fucking pie holes.

My wife (separated) rolls around 250, my dad is about the same but three inches shorter, my brother (estranged) is probably 240 at 5’10" and he could dunk in HS.

Wife has high blood pressure and cholesterol, knee and ankle issues, dad is Type II diabetic, end stage heart failure (he is 87), high BP, edema, is on a host of toxic meds - including TRT, lol. Brother is on Lipitor and BP meds.

So no, fat people do not piss me off a little.

They piss me off a lot!

And I’m trying to be all Zen and shit, and they are fucking that up, lol.

EDIT - Brother’s wife is all wholistic and righteous about her food and supplements, has gotten so fat she has to have hip replacement.

I didn’t want to necro this thread, but it seemed the most appropriate place to post.

My second grader came home last week and mentioned they had cupcakes in class for a party. That’s fine - we never have cake/candy/soda in the house, but I don’t restrict them for special occasions.

Anyway, he told me that “the fat kid told me to only eat the vanilla ones because chocolate has sugar.” Which I thought was funny, then sad because it’s a kid who is already known as the fat one, then kind of mad at the parents, because I suspect that misinformation came from them.

seems kinda weird to get hung up on folks eating a lot of cookies and ice cream while at the same time celebrating the accomplishments of other folks who abuse drugs and work out obsessively until their own self-destruction. After all wasnt it peak-steroids-Arnold who said that lifting made him feel like he was “cumming” day and night? How many accomplished lifters do we know of who have suffered ill fate as a side effect of drug usage to support their lifting? If eating cookies made me feel like I was “cumming day and night” I am sure I would be doing it too. One set of bad choices + addiction is OK, but the other set of bad choices + addiction is a character flaw. Curious. Meanwhile, its well known that weight gain and over eating come as a side effect of some medications, this recent one turned otherwise normal people into gambling and sex addicts. So what are we really criticizing? The fact that some peoples’ bodies and brains might not be working ideally? Or that they are misguided or uneducated? Humans are not as far removed from Pavlov’s Dog as we might like to think.
