Need Workout Routine

I work a 12hour rotating shift and minimum time for a workout. What would be a good routine to use for me to use after I awake and before work.

531 works well

Thanx, would that be good on an empty stomach with just BCAA right before workout

Almost no training is good on an empty stomach. Would you be able to quickly eat some fruit or something?

Well it is dependent on your goals, and your experience level

Thanx, sounds pretty solid. Now to find my maxes on these lifts.

Need to lose 30lbs. It’s been about 7 years since I’ve workout routinely

In which case fix your diet. Training is pretty much irrelevant if your diet isn’t in check.

Read up on low carb diets. Most overweight people simply eat too many carbs.

Working on that with meal prep

Getting the diet sorted is no 1 priority in first month. Once you get used to that add on exercise.

Are you going to train at home or in gym?

Awesomeness you can’t overeat if prepare meals. Since you work shift work, do you bring your meals, skip or go out?

I know overweight people who cook 95% of what they eat.

Wtf does that mean. If I didn’t love cooking I’d be skin and bones again. It’s about portion control and macros and micros…sigh…edit timing, too

It means what I said. People don’t always cook healthy.

I was just trying to ask how that was relevant?maybe my brain isn’t awake, yet. I’ve put on over a gazillion and gotten hubby down 35 lbs

You said you can’t overeat if you cook yourself. If the food is good it’s easy to overeat.

No, what I meant is if you buy Pyrex or Tupperware and cook in advance and pack it you make yourself eat that much and tough titties if you’re hungry because your meal was already calorie met.
