Maybe since every country can’t afford the best equipment. All athletes should lower their chances of winning and use substandard equipment so the playing field is even.
Maybe we should make sure all athletes have the same training routines. They should all eat the same food in the same proportions. No more aereodynamic assistance.
Fact maybe all athletes should be the same size for each event. Put limits on who can particapate in each sport.

Way to take it to the extreme. This is why the Olympics are considered a joke to many people. It’s not about who’s stronger or faster. It’s about their high-tech swim suits, running shoes, and altered playing surfaces, etc.

True, ever since the wall came down, I lost interest. I lost interest when our pros played, even though different economic systems basically had pros. I lost interest over the crappy judging and the corruption of the IOC officials.
And I always hated the human interest over showing me more events. I’m 44 now and i do remember seeing some sports way back in the day I would never get to see. I liked that. Now we here how Phelps overcame such great adversity, ADHD. It’s not like he almsos died from cancer. He was a rammy kid who got into something that helps rammy kids, exercise.
