age: 16
weight: 146
goal: to have a good balance of being cut and strong
im not even sure if what im doing is going to get me the body i want
i just try to get my daily 2900-3000 calories and 146 grams of protein in
ill show you guys an example of what i might eat daily, i dont really have a definitive diet
morning 1 scoop whey protein, banana
mid morning kashi fiber bar
afternoon ham or turkey sandwhich on whole grain bread, and 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil depending on how many calories im getting in already
then an hour before i work out ill have one scoop of whey, sometimes with 2% or soy milk, sometimes with water
post work out i’ll have 2 scoops of whey
then probably a steak and steamed vegetables or something along the lines of that for dinner
i’ve been keeping a food log for about a week and ive had to improvise a lot when i eat foods without nutrition facts, because then i dont know how many calories im getting from it so i’ll just estimate

At you’re stage of development, just focus on eating real food for all meals and save the whey for PWO.
As it is, you don’t appear to be eating very much solid food.[/quote]
yeah its just inconvenient for me to make full meals of “solid” food, and whats inconvenient for me i wont be consistent about, so i just try to get my calories in
thanks for the tip though
If that is just one day in your week, you aren’t getting 3000 kcals a day. Now, you might be going on a major binge on other days and when you average the kcals for the week you end up with 3000kcals, but, you didn’t tell or show us that.

Often, food comes in containers.
On the sides of these containers are listed their nutritional content, as required by the FDA.
The calories in vegetables are negligable, and I just assume that there’s 100g of protein per pound of steak.
Droozie, you are 16. How can it possibly be inconvenient to eat solid food through the day? You are in high school, you probably don’t work during the week.
Pack a hearty lunch for yourself (fuck the turds who mock you for it) during your lunch period.
Bring a shaker bottle too if need be.
Let your parents know that you are serious about growing. If they deny you real food (ie, wont buy it from the grocery store) then buy it yourself. Trust me on this, a skinny guy who downs Whey all the time. Whey rules, but solid food is imperative.
