Well, I don’t have to prove anything, but to be clear, I only did 1 rep. I can do about 3 on the 160s
3 on 160s… But 210 for one rep? How many spotters have their hands on the bar…? https://i.chzbgr.com/completestore/12/8/11/iFisne-diUWAElkBRRvhFg2.jpg What are your other lifts? I bet you squat 500 for 20 reps…
That’s funny… But my buddy is my spotter and he definitely didn’t help me out. It was just a one time thing. I’m pretty sore right now, but will try again during the week to see if I can do 215 again.
I haven’t done any squats yet. Gonna see how big I get and work out the legs accordingly.

Wow, I said I benched 215#… Not that I have a trillion dollars lol
I’m probably going to stick to something lower anyway. Don’t have time to work out the legs and its gonna be even more work to maintain a bigger size in the long run.
I guess I’m kinda like the spud webb of weight lifting

Maybe its all the turkey I ate from Thanksgiving. Who knows…

This is my favorite part.
I’m going to load up on turkey pre-workout and see what happens tomorrow. I bet I finally hit 400 on bench.

I think it’s more accurate to say that you’re kinda like an idiot.
Guy is definitely a troll
If this is how people are treated who show up here anymore? I don’t know why anybody ever would. The guy starts a thread in the beginners forum right where he belongs, makes no claims of expertise on any level and from looking over his short posting history has done nothing except try to participate in an unpretentious manner. He finds out he’s stronger than he thought and comes to the natural place to tell people, or so he thinks, and gets piled on by abuncha infantile nonconstructive jackasses who seem to have forgotten that they were noobs once too. So maybe he’s a little excitable. So what. It IS exciting when you outperform your own expectations. Or does that only count for you?
Good job rookie lifter. If you’re lyin? And I don’t see any reason to leap to the conclusion you are. That’s your problem. Don’t let these snobs discourage you.
EDIT: Oh yeah, the guy in the other thread who was telling you to pick something and work it diligently for a while was right on. Pick some simple program with a fairly rigid routine built around primarily big movements and give it all ya got for at least a few months until you even BEGIN to learn to read what your body’s tellin you about how it might respond to what. Eat like a man and get some sleep and you’ll continue to amaze yourself. You’re at the best possible age and being small doesn’t mean a thing. Hopefully you have more positive input in real life than you’re getting here.

Yea I looked atthe other thread too. Do his posts seriously not reek of troll to you? Just seems like he’s being funny.

What job?
He picked up a weight for the first time and did not completely embarass himself.
Since that is an important part of the experience though, the good people of T-Nation were happy to make it happen.

You and I apparently have different ideas about what pretentious means.
Nevermind. I should have known better.
I was coming in here thinking, Marilyn Manson I had a rib removed for self gratification.
Oh well carry on.
Did you do curls after bench?
It seems odd for a newb to triple less than 90% of there max… Let alone triple less than 80%. Something doesn’t add up there. I will completely believe you if you have a video though ;).
So in a few weeks you increased your bench by 55lbs? Highly doubt it
