Im not arguing with you i know/care very little about BBing just answering the OP’s question. BUT look at Dimitry klokov’s back pretty imprssive yea?
Compared to most people? yeah. Compared to most amateur or pro bodybuilders…no.
I’d be intrested to see an amateur with a back similiar to his. also his goal wasnt to build a back for a BB comp and he is restricted to a weight class. Plus are you talking about pro BBers who are taking steroids?
Yes pro bodybuilders take steriods…that’s not a hidden secret please go beyond that point…not to mention many powerlifter, olympic lifters, and your regular average joe lifters use steriods as well. Lets put that poor argument to rest already…Back to your post, do you really think this guy has a more developed back than most Amateur bodybuilders? You can’t be serious?
firstly i was asking Pro X was he comparing him to natural or drug tested Bbers. Sceondly if your an amateur (and going by your response of you getting your feelings hurt and your panties in a twist) then yes judging by profile pic yes i am serious.
Hell take a look at Stu’s back, a natural pro, or the various natural amateurs even, they are miles apart in back development compared to that guy. That is why you were asked if you were serious.

Take a look at the blond Oly lifter in Mike Robertson’s article in the overhead press. The guy is jacked. I would imagine his back would be quite impressive if we could see it. I don;t know the guys name but the picture is probably from the late 60’s or early 70’s, back when they still had the press as an official lift. Strength coach and former Oly lifter Bill Starr use to advocate Oly lifters do bent over rows ( more of a power version ) in the off season. I think the Oly lifter of 30 plus years ago did SOME bodybuilding type movements for assistance exercises. The lifters of today do very little, if any, of these same exercises. There seems to be a noticeable difference in the builds of the lifters.
Again, I doubt the participants in their respective sports don’t care what the other thinks in terms of back development or level of strength.
