In any case, that’s a solid program. Just follow it as written. The author Charles Staley knows his stuff. Coincidentally, his book The Science of Martial Arts Training was one of the first training books I ever bought. He’s a legit martial artist himself: Black Belt Bodybuilder

i’m excited to try it out, i’m starting it the week of 03/09/2020 as i’m on the last day already of the current high rep program. Now don’t get me wrong, i like the current high rep program for strength endurance, but it doesn’t actually improve my actual strength, it’s more like it is maintaining what i have.

so last night was my first day for the brute strength training program i’ve decided to incorporate into my workout routine, it was different and i can definitely feel the targeted muscles today, but it was a great feeling to lift that heavy weight for reps. I wouldn’t have been able to do so without the time spent on the other program which i’m going to retain for the strength endurance phase.
