Who cares if the kid files a police report? Who cares if he comes back and stabs/shoots/gang rapes the OP?

Whether the OP can get away with beating up some wise ass kid does not really matter. The real issue is the OP’s state of mind. Being badass is about how much discipline you have, not how many people you can beat up. Your need to prove something to a scrawny wise ass just proves your own insecurity and weakness. You should be better than them and more confident and not need to prove yourself.

I’m sorry, but did you even attend school as a 15-year old?

If someone talks shit about you to your face for months on end and you put up with it with the excuse that “you don’t need to prove yourself”…you are a pussy in the eyes of your peers.

Just because he has the spine to not be used as a verbal punching bag for some kid to work out on doesn’t mean he is insecure or weak. It means he doesn’t tolerate bullshit indefinitely.

Not all of us were content to go through our highschool days as a social doormat.

Awesome psychoanalysis (and a view completely unheard of in the realm of Internet Diagnoses, by the way), but the kid is 15. Being called a faggot in front of your peers get very old, very quick at that age.

If you don’t know how kids that age can run with jokes and take advantage of people unwilling to stick up for themselves…you probably needed to get out more in your youth.

Their bad habits should be broken as soon as possible, and new positive habits forged in their place.

You wouldn’t tell someone to smoke and drink their ass off until the end of college and THEN try to clean up the mess they made of their body would you?

I bet some of you would but I hope you see my point.

What point? Where’s the “habit”?

ONE fight does not a street thug make. One cigarette does not make someone an addict. One beer doesn’t make someone an alcoholic.

The kid HAS good habits - he was turning the other cheek for months on end (why this seems to escape so many of you is beyond me). I’d say his parents did a very good job teaching him restraint as a child. Eventually, though, there has to come a time when you are willing to stand up for yourself.

And that does NOT involve challenging the kid to “a killer leg day” at the gym.

Christ, he punched the kid a few times. You all make it seems like he busted a glass bottle over the kids dome and went to town on his kidneys with the shards.

Children get into fights all the time - most of us who grew up before all the school violence hysteria and “Zero Tolerance” crap have at least one under our belt.

I’d say the majority of us turned out OK.
Thank you, so much, I tried getting this point across clearly, but noone understood.

If he is not told to correct it this could very well become a habit. One or two other posters have mentioned getting into scuffles as if it was common habit for them.

Bottom line, “I couldn’t take it anymore” is not a valid excuse. Each of us is responsible for our own emotions and actions as a result. Each of us can choose to react or not to stimulus. The OP and several others here need to learn a bit more self-control, otherwise they will continue to be the bitches of whoever is out there providing the stimulus.

The kid who got knocked out got just what he wanted.

I’m sure a lot of the people criticizing you have forgotten what a rough age you are at to have to be dealing with insults to your sexuality for months on end, and are probably more than a little out of touch with how the social scene works with kids at your age.

I figured it would go without saying that you shouldn’t (and won’t) make a habit of this, but some people in this thread seem to be under the impression that you are on the verge of completely losing track of your ability to exercise appropriate judgement. For some reason, I’m just not seeing where standing up for oneself - in ONE instance, after MONTHS of provocation - puts one on the fast-track to teenage delinquency.

Color me crazy, but that’s how I feel.

Put it in the off fucking topic section because that’s all it is.

Hell by your logic I could open a thread here about what kind of t-shirt to buy because I want that advice of “people I can identify with”.

Shit, watch out, Hanley is going to have to kick your ass now. Noone should have to take verbal insults laying down.

This is why you’re not Batman.

hahahhha… were you a troll the whole time? or serious?

Wow… you’ll be missed. NOT. Another punk 15 year old down the drain.

Yea, it did, but when I saw hanleys post I got a little pissed off, and I guess Ill just to another forum.

Can the admins ban BigMbot for posting pornographic images in his profile, in particular in his avatar? We not only have men posting here, but women and minors.

I know it’s the internet, but c’mon.

Anyone know how to delete accounts?

As I write this, I sit here with a sprained hand, wondering if punching a kid out was worth it. For a while this kid I knew had always been talking shit about me, since the day I met him, I wanted to fight him, but my other friends said no, this went on for months until tonight.

Me my friends and him were walking along until he starts calling me and the sport of powerlifting faggots.

I shrugged it off till he said it again and I flipped, i shoved him to the car, he kicked me in the stomach (I dont kno why) Ane he ran, I caught up to him. and knocked him out. What would u guys do? this might sound weird, but i think i finally flipped because he made fun of powerlifting. Was I right in doing this?
Based on the type of pictures he has chosen to upload, it’s a certain bet that this is either a kid throwing a e-tantrum upon finding out not everyone cheered him up for his, most likely imaginary deed, or it’s simply a troll.

Assuming it’s not a troll, it’s almost certain this is just a fake story. Plain and simple. You see these type of annectodal fights being posted all over the place (go to bullshido.net or yahoo!answers and see for yourself.)

It’s summer, the time when shinny eyed juveniles log on the internet to tell the world about their amazing feats of strenght, manhood, ferocity, power and sexual virility in a world full of unicorns, glass and lava, ninjas, scanty clad ho’s, burly Conan-like strongmen with viking attire roaming the landscape with Sammy Haggard playing “Heavy Metal” in the horizon with the triple suns of Tatooine on the background.

IT. IS. A. FAKE. STORY…

or at the very least a highly embelished dramatization of two HS punks going “yo! yo!!!”

Regardless, the OP should be banned because his avatar is pornographic, and it’s appearing in the front page of T-Nation among the newly uploaded pictures. He’s an idiot, a juvenile one, but an idiot.

Having said that, some of you really need to check your nuts. Assuming this story were true, which is not, you don’t tell a kid that he’s an idiot for knocking another kid that’s bullying him or talking shit.

The problem with society nowadays is that kids (and adults) talk shit because they know they can get away with it. They say things that would get them killed in other parts of the world.

Now, I’m not going to say I’d want to see people gunning each other down at the slightest provocation, but I’d want to see people shutting the fuck up sometimes.

Kids need to fight - they are churning testosterone up the wazooo - or at the very least have an outlet, a sport or activity where they can throw their aggression. Once you have that, aggressiveness changes from hostility to competition.

If a kid hits another one that’s bullying him or talking shit to him, good for him, for both (as the one on the receiving end is learning that talking shit CAN have consequences.)

Is it legal? Certainly not? Is it moral? That’s debatable. Is it natural? Yes. It’s all about context in which such a fight takes place.

But all that’s moot in this thread because the fight described by the OP is not real. Seriously. It’s just the mental fabrication of a kid with too much time during summer and an internet connection.
