Just as a side note, one arm DL’s are really fun! and totally interesting.
We have been trying to incorporate more balance/stability work as well as some single sided type things. Very cool.
Also, in case anyone thinks my training is all over the place. Sorry, it is. I don’t really like routine, or formats. blah blah.
I like to do whatever I want, whenever I want to.
If I feel like DL three days in a row, then I will. Whatever.

Cheers!

Another update:
The wife has been working with Stacy for one month, and she has lost 3 pounds, and a total of 5 inches!
…so I guess Crossfit DOES have its place…Just not in my life.
Cardio and lifting should stay separate.
Thank you Stacy for giving my wife her confidence back.

@N-THank you, I stole them from Jamie (wifey)

Hey Oleena!
THank you! That picture was taken at Paradise on Mount Ranier![/quote]

Ha! I knew it! I’m a bit jealous of your car. It looks like it could be fun.

That’s great about your wife getting into crossfit. I think everyone goes through phases and it takes a while for a lot of people to find out what they really want to that’s personally fun for them concerning fitness. Crossfit is a good starting place. Maybe your wife will get really serious about the weights after a few months and start coming after your ass in the gym.

Awesome deadlifting, btw! You’re one strong woman.

just wanted to throw this out there cause i noticed your grip in your bench picture, check if the federation your going to compete in allows a thumbless grip. ive only competed in usapl and i believe they dont allow it. so you may have to change your grip up a bit if your going to compete with that fed. im not sure about others though.

@ Fong- thank you for that advice! I had no idea that would be a factor! I will check into it for sure. I do all of my pressing with that sort of grip.

No gym the past few days. stupid cold. snot all over the place. uhg.

Hello all of my lovely followers.
On this past wonderful saturday morning, I blew out my right knee doing some good ol’ Army combatives.
No gym for me for an indefinite amount of time. At least until I can walk and support my own weight properly.
I don’t know what is wrong yet. Might take months, knowing the Army medical system.
Hope for the best. Thank you.
I will update and post with my most recent training sessions.
Also, a week ago Stacy and I started a Paleo-esque diet. Will post before weight/BF/pictures…

Cheers.
