Its from your post about 4 posts up, good memory, LOL.
Amber12- there is a meet at the crossfit gym in Lynwood which was tentatively scheduled for April then bumped back to May, I thought that may be the one you were planning on doing. They are usually SPF there, I think.

Yah I ignore half of what I write and forget the other half.

LM- haha, it’s alright. I too have the memory of a goldfish.
Silver- Lynnwood isn’t too far away, I could look in to that one as well.
The one I am trying to find is at McVeigh Gym. it is on JBLM, the military installation. It is a powerlifting gym. They have competitions there, and it is listed on Powerliftingwatch.com

No gym today… FOOTBALL ALL DAY!

BP from yesterday.

Good to see another woman from Washington who loves lifting! You look like you’re going to do great at your first meet. People seem to just be repeating advice to you that you already said you were going to do (“I’m going to do 5-3-1” “Hey, I recommend doing 5-3-1” “Um.”)

BTW where was your main picture (of the car) taken?

Hey Oleena!
THank you! That picture was taken at Paradise on Mount Ranier!

Updates: for equipment, I now own my own: dip belt, fat gripz, knee wraps, and wrist wraps.
Excited about all of the above. I need a bigger gym bag though…
The wrist wraps are really helping me out a lot with my wrist pain. Especially because I have been doing a lot of work on the rings lately with chin ups, dips, iso holds, lever holds, lever chins, and just fucking around.
Note to powerful women*: if you want a lot of attention with jaw drops and drool pools in the gym, start messing around on the rings with some iso-holds… Then watch the skinny boys try to attempt what you’re doing. Too funny.
Scale weight in the morning is sitting around 161 pounds.
The other day I was just messing around and found out I could curl 67pounds on a BB for a few STRICT reps. I was amused.

Current Quests: The Muscle up. I want it so bad. i’m honestly to embarrassed to attempt it, as my gym is always busy and full of Army idiots taking up and crowding the bar/ring area.
Time to clean the house.

Cheers.

Hey Queenie!

I’m competing in June. Best of luck to you and looking forward to reading about your journey.

stuff to check for:

squat depth: some feds are strict

foot placement on bench: flat foot or not.

commands: so many people screw up there day because of those.

Glad you finally posted in here again, I was creeping it daily and was starting to go through withdrawl, haha.

N! good luck on your comp! ill check in to see how you’re doing!
spock! haha thanks. i love being creeped on!

In a few weeks there is a powerlifting competition up north. I have a gym acquaintance that is competing, but I am not. I do not feel that I am ready, so I think Stacy and I will be attending to watch. I am excited. It should be a good experience.
My notebook is in the car, but I will post my workouts from the past week…tomorrow maybe.
Cheers

Ring isos are great! Glad to see another powerlifter using them for accessory.

What are ring isos? They sound good if they make jaws drop. Can you describe them?

Isometric holds on rings.
