Deadlift hurt my back

Hi guys I’m back! Training been going great and I feel good healthy but I’ve been adding deadlift to my push / pull / lower off upper / lower days and my back has been hurting and is there any alternatives or what’s a good strength back workout for tall guy like me! 6’ 4" . Please guys and thank you

Proper form.

Not to be a dick, but you keep creating threads looking for shortcuts.

Maybe get a trainer, pick a program, follow it.

Best of luck!

What do you mean shortcut. I said my train was fantastic and I’m making gains. Just my back has been hurting doing deadlift! Did I get something wrong here :slightly_frowning_face:

How many threads have you started asking for advice?

I’m confused. Isn’t this where we seek advice and help :flushed:

It just seems like you’re bouncing all over the place.

Maybe it’s me.

@The_Myth is right. It seems like you are all over the place with your training. It is much easier if you start a log and keep track of what you are doing, maybe post some videos and keep all the advice in one place so you can go back and reference it.

If your back is hurting from deadlifting you’re probably doing it wrong. Throw up a form check video so we can take a look.

Deadlifts hurt a lot of guys’ backs. For alternatives you could try;

-Raising the bar, on blocks or in the rack so you don’t have to bend over so far.

-Using a Trap Bar/Hex bar for deads.

-Taking the bar out of the rack and starting at the top, like a Romain Deadlift.

-Not doing deads at all, and doing a lot of rows and back extensions or glute/ham raises instead.
