  1. Always sumo, given the extremly unique and rare shape of my body (yet incredibly functional in a sporting sense) I can only do sumo.

I want to see photos of your rare, unique but incredibly functional body.

You are a sick pervert for requesting that.

i don’t think that’s sick, i was curious also. i wanted to see if there was actually a reason why he couldn’t conventionally deadlift. when people say statements like the first poster’s, it’s usually bc they’re full of crap.

once to twice a week

Conventional

Rack pulls/reverse hypers

Matt’s crazy as hell.

Don’t worry about him.

  1. 1-3 times a week (when I’m not fighting injury)

  2. I like conventional palms in style (makes the grip stronger)

  3. Cleans, GHR, box squats, rack pulls

1-3 times a week on average.

Overhand grip, medium foot space

Is the Clean considered an assistance exercise? If not, I’d say general grip work…

  1. Once or twice a week (depends)
  2. Conventional w/ mixed grip
  3. Deficit deads are good stuff, and maybe GH raises to help my hamstrings some.

I am basically built very similar to Adam Archuleta only taller.

1X week

Conventional

Stiff Leg Deadlifts

I thought I 'd bump this thread to see if anyone wants to add to it.

I’m thinking about doing Trap Deadlifts three times a week.

I wanna try a Bill Star style heavy-light-medium routine.

BTW I did a search before I posted this.

  1. 3-7 days a week
  2. sumo
  3. 1 box squats 2 good mornings
  1. 2x per week for ME and DE.

  2. Conventional…UNCONVENTIONAL!

  3. 20rep snatch-grip speed pulls (no rest, no resetting).

  1. 2-3 times per week
  2. conventional
  3. good morning

Just started back - Once per week

I prefer conventional but I also use sumo. Haven’t used the trap bar in years.

  1. Twice per week (one deadlift, one romanian deadlift)

  2. Conventional (alternating grip)

  3. Rack Pulls (grip strength)
    Deficit Deads (bottom end strength)

  1. Every 8 weeks, I will do 2 consecutive weeks of max deadlifts. But I usually do 6-10 rep sets of Romanian deadlifts every friday.

  2. Sumo

  3. Good mornings

  1. once a week
  2. conv.
  3. no favorites, i hate them all. in order of hate, least hate being first: rack pulls, stiff leg, raised platform
  • Whenever I cycle it, I train it for about 6 weeks, 1x a week (plus speed pulls).

  • sumo, I switch it up sometimes tho

  • Good Mornings, Snatch grip deadlifts from a deficit (when pulling conventional), box squats (when lifting sumo)

Before I injured my leg…

  1. Twice a week

Day 1
A. Squats
B. Romanian Deadlifts

Day 5
A. Snatch-Grip Deadlifts
B. Assistance lift

  1. Snatch-Grip Deadlifts

  2. Romanian Deadlifts

-Kevin

I do deads maybe 10-12 weeks a year. Using the Westside Template its merely another ME exercise for Squat/Dead day. Very rarely will I replace box squats with speed pulls.

I pull conventional

GH Raises would be my fav assistance exercise for the dead

  1. Every 5 or 6 days
  2. Conventional, and I alternate my grip by set
  3. Stiff-leg DL and lunges with a loaded barbell
