Db Bench Form

Ok when i BB bench i pull my shoulders back and down like your supposed to but when i bench DB’s i dont keep my shoulders back.I have tried and pulled them back and it feels fine but i fatigue faster probably because its not my normal form.

So my question is should i retrain myself to keep shoulders back with DB’s like i do with BB.And how do i get them back with heavy weight.

Before you lay back on the bench, while holding the dumbbells, retract your shoulder blades. Keep them tight as you lie back onto the bench. Keep the dumbbells in a neutral grip and tight against your chest. Then plant your feet and get into your normal position by pushing your feet into the floor and digging your upper back in the bench. Then turn the dumbbells to your normal pressing position and begin your set. Hope this helps. You may also try this with lighter dumbbells and be sure to do each warm up set the same way.
