Dallas Cowboys, 16-0?

I am a huge Packer fan. I can safely say that the difference was the war in the trenches. No time versus all day. Running game versus nearly no running game. They only award one win for each game, though. Gotta play 'em all. Ask Pats fans about showing up.

Dallas DOES NOT HAVE A HEART OF A CHAMPION. NOT SINCE THE NINETIES.
They “should have lost to philly”? I guess someone forgot to give God’s Team that particular memo. Because as I remember it, Philly’s offense was a little less than prepared. Their defense had to score for them, and the refs had to give them a bogus interference to get them close to the end zone.

I guess the players play and the whiners whine.

But while you are going all Knute Rockne, maybe you could define “heart of a champion” for me.

RJ, do you really feel comfortable as a Cowboys fan knowing that you have Wade Phillips, a man who has never won a playoff game, as your coach?

Just wondering what how the Cowboy faithful feel about that.

Definition

Heart Of A Champion: The heart of one who can AND wishes to win a championship; The heart not of Cock sucking Owens; Not the Heart of Tony Homo; Not the heart of Dallas Cuntkissers; To be of some one else other than that of a Dallas Cuntkisser or a fan therof means to have a heart of a champion

Edit: Forgot to post my source.

Taken straight from the “Fuck The Cowboys” special edition of Webster’s Dictionary.

As far as being champions, this is how I feel. The Cowboys need to win it this year or it will all go bad fast. I don’t think Owens could take another heartbreaking playoff loss. Phillips would probably be fired. Pac-Man will be off making it rain.

There’s a lot of volatile personalities on that team, and after time it will come out. Winning will hide and suppress that. Players can push their egos and personalities aside as long as their winning.

After three playoff losses when your were the “best” team in the NFC, there’s going to be no more hiding things.

Heart of a champion? come on did you play ball?
there are certain teams that respond to getting smashed in the face, the come out swinging no matter what the situation.

The difference between a smash mouth team and one that softens the harder they are hit. A team that functions as a team and not a collective group of individuals.

Watch how as they get tested over the course of the season and they dont respond. They will soften, as certain whiners dont make catches and certain defenses get stood up. That team of individuals will break down when smacked.

They buiilt team not a made team.

RE PHILLY? they pretty much almost had there numbe the whole game and had less talent.

Watch out for STEELERS< RAVENS< JAGS< MINNESOTA<GIANTS TO catch them with a un pretty boy style of football and ram it up there ass!
maybe not in week six and under but watch the real teams in week six after.

Oh they will skate through till the playoffs but THEY WILL MEET THERE DOOM, even if they luck out to the super bowl they will meet there doom aswell!

PS I also read that they are recruiting directly out of jail! and financing there operations directly with cartel money to get those extra signing bonuses!

ALSO SEE YANKEES! loads of talent! NO HEART OF A CHAMION! ha ha ha!

Now see normally this makes me rout for a team, but not the cowcunts.

I thought he was a horrible choice the day they hired him. He is a decent defensive coordinator, but always a bridesmaid as an HC. I think most of the Cowboy fans feel about the same as I do, but I don’t know that for sure.

If Wade doesn’t bring home a ring this season, he’s fired, hell - he loses 3 straight, and he’s gone. As badly as I dislike JJones, he will not accept less than a ring this year.

Jason Garrett is the coach in waiting, and is making more than Phillips is this season. I think he will be the head coach next season, regardless of what Phillips does this year.

I still don’t understand how that whole hiring went down. They secured Garrett a position before a head coach was in place but wouldn’t even say what Garrett’s position was.

Why not just give Garrett the reigns over offense and the head coach title and just hire Phillips as the defensive coordinator, which he has proved himself capable of doing? I don’t understand what went on here.

Garrett was a qb coach at Miami when the tuna left Dallas. this is just my own thinking, but I think JJones knew that Garrett was the only guy in the coaching ranks who had any long term dealings with how things are done in Big D.

Plus, Jones probably had a better idea than most about how bright Garrett is. He was offered a job with his old team as opposed to being fired from the Dolphins and sent packing.

I think it was a gamble on Jones’ part, but he knew what he had in Phillips - which would be a better than average defense, and he took a big gamble on Garrett as the OC. Garrett paid off in spdes, and as the season wore on last year, it was evident that he would be getting HC offers ofter what he did with the Cowboys.

When Garrett takes the reins, I would expect him to last longer than most all of the other coaches Jones has had on the payroll since buying the team.

Garrett seems like a bright guy who could make a good head coach. I guess I just tired of seeing the same old guys regurgitated over and over in the coaching ranks. It’s a little better lately, but it still too common. I mean, we all know it’s only a matter of time before we see Cowher again. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Parcells out there again.

Talking about coaching hires made me think of this:

Am I right?

And yes, yesterday over the Bengals he won that game.

I have no idea what I wrote, although I doubt I was gay bashing him.

I was not a fan of his until the Patriots game last year. I’ve always thought he had all the potential in the world, but I didn’t think that he would ever get it together and have that team follow him like they did (and do now).

Like I said, I was at the first game he ever led the Giants in a two minute drill down the field for a touchdown, it was in late December of 2005. That was a flash of his potential, but I didn’t know that he’d ever have anything but flashes of it.

The guy made a believer out of me last year, and he’s shown nothin but the same this year. I have suffered with the Giants for many years. It is good that they’ve got this team at this time.
3 Super Bowls in 23 years ain’t exactly suffering.

I think he was referring to living in New York

Poor misconception… your mad because your team is not as good as the Cowboys, do not worry your not the only one.

we will see at the end of the year! cowboys will be no different than any of the other prior five years ago dallas teams.

Of course Garrett is a great coach. He’s had to watch more football than anyone ever, lol. Poor guy never got a chance.

been a cowboys fan all my life and have been waiting for this season for a loooooooooooooooooooooong ass time

I know, but the Giants always seem to dissapoint. Had that one good run in 2000, but other than that they have been dissapointing every year from '92 to 2007.

They used to fucking make up ways to lose, especially in the playoffs… like the loss to the Vikings, or to the niners in the earlier part of the decade.

when was the last time the cowboys won a playoff how can someone agrue there the team to beat to get to the super bowl if they havent won a playoff game in forever.

giants defense look just as good on the line and secondary is looking better. and eli manning is finally turning the corner to the great qb his father preaches him to be.

giants are the team to beat intel somone else wins the superbowl.
