NE Patriots v. NY Football Giants

Games about to start…Lets go Giants…Unless your down by 14 points at half time, or by 21 points at anytime during the game in which case sit your starters.

I guess my view of the Pats has changed over the year. I still dont like them but they are a great team no debating. One of the best ever. Lets hope its a good game, no matter the outcome.

As a Skins fan, I don’t really have any reason to be for either team. The Patriots kicked my team’s ass, but that’s because the Skins played like pussies, and deserved what they got.

I don’t really dislike any team, not even the Cowboys, but certain fans get on my nerves. I don’t know any Patriots fans, so I got nothing against them. I do work with a few loud mouthed Giants fans, however.

As i’ve been saying for the last 10 weeks or so… I want the Pats to go undefeated because I can’t stand all the talk about the 1972 Dolphins being the greatest team ever.

They played a weak schedule that year. No doubt they were a good and solid team… But I don’t believe them to be the greatest. And those champagne toasts they throw every year (except this year, hopefully) are about as self-righteous and egotistical as it gets.

You think its different for the pats? They played a pretty weak schedule also-besides a few games here and their, which did test them- I think they have the best group ever for a football team so deserve to go undefeated, but I still hate them and don’t want them to win the superbowl.

The 72 Dolphins didn’t play any opponent with the equivelant talent of the Colts.

I agree however, with their overall schedule.

Anyway…

Does anyone know the name of the song they’ve been playing going into commercial breaks?

The one with the bagpipe sounding music… I’ve heard the song before and I like it, but have no idea what the name is or who the artist is.

I’m from NY, but go to school upstate NY in albany and for some reason all the people there think they are in New Enland. NY IS NOT NEW ENGLAND. Pats fans suck too. Its funny thought I dont hate the skins much either, I do hate the cowboys however.

Give some props to my Giants. They put up a great fight. It was a great game, its too bad eli and the giants didn’t play like they did in the 1st half in that last quarter. I think Brady got hit more in this game he did all year long.

Congratz to the pats, now lets see if you guys can knock off the Colts and Jacksonville. I think Jacksonville gives them the biggest problems in the AFC but we’ll see.

A healthy Colts team will beat them. No way they beat three quality opponents in a row.

I’m not a Pats fan. Born and raised in Detroit, but I don’t think there is such a thing as a lions fan. You could say I jump on a bandwagon, but I say I just like to watch teams play good ball. 16-0, breaking records and a dynasty in the 2000’s is good football.
I’ve seen this year some questionable officiating in the Pats favor. I think tonights game was no different. Early in the game, there was a pass called incomplete to NY. It looked good to me, he only dropped it after contact was made (out of bounds). There was another call when NY was flagged for something after the whistle, replays clearly show an eye poke by a NE player. For whatever reason, a lot of calls goes NE way. But did anything change the outcome of tonights game?
They played like a championship team. Down, but not out. Pressured, but not panicked. Making the big plays when it counts most. This team is not just flashy, they are tough.
On CBS, they asked the question, does 16-0 mean anything without a superbowl victory? I don’t think so. It would be equivalent to a Dan Marino- sets records but came short of the big one.
Numbers can’t lie. This team is good, no doubt the best this decade and they will go down in the same groups as the 70’s Steelers, the Niners and the 90’s Cowboys. Despite that, besides a few games, have they been a dominating force. Most games I actually sat down and watched, they have been close, with the Pats not sealing it until late in the game. Often, they have done just enough to win. As I said, those are the games I watched, I’ve seen plenty of boxscores and higlights that tell me that wasn’t the season.
Alright, rant over. What next, what could stop them now?

if they lose be one of the biggest disappointments in NFL history.

I’ve never seen a more disgusting display of favoritism and one sided commentary than this game. EVERY chance they had inbetween plays they showed Tom “leave my pregnant girlfriend for a supermodel like a dickless teenager” Brady sitting on the sidelines. It was truly disgusting. CBS’ fellatio skills have officially hit a new high for the NE Patriots.

It wasn’t CBS. It was the NFL network’s coverage, just simulcast by NBC and CBS. The NFL network has the two shittiest commentators in the business.

Oh ok. Well fuck the NFL network then.

Couple things:
I hate how commentators can’t stop sucking Tom Brady off. Yes, he’s ‘pretty.’ Yes, he is very fucking good (I mean really fucking good). Despite his appearance he’s extremely tough, can take a hit etc. BUT HE IS NOT THE ONLY REASON THE TEAM IS GOOD. That O-line is damn good. He has ALL DAY to throw the ball a lot of the time. And the players around him are no slouches. I’m sick and tired of talking heads saying he’s the best thing since sliced bread.

NE fans suck. Especially one of my good friends whose a bandwagoning bastard.

Since the pats are already ‘one of the best teams ever’ (and they are), if they lose… what does that mean?

The Pats look really vulnerable to a couple of teams. Basically a team with a strong running game to keep that offense off the field, a hellatious (sp?) pass rush, and a hard nose secondary that can push those recievers around seem like they could grind out a win.

My Chargers will come up with the biggest upset in NFL history.

Ok, I’m starting to hate the Giants. Eli is retarded. If he hates football so much he should stand up to his freaking family and just quit.

EDIT: Congratulations to New England, by the way.

I’m so fucking pissed. The whole game I thought the Giants were going to win, until Eli fucktard manning threw the interception to throw the game away.

He’s fucking awful.

I seriously think they should have won that game.

And yeah, the inordinate amount of dick sucking that goes on while talking about Tom Brady is absurd.

3 out of 5 of their linemen are pro bowlers, along with many of his receivers. Sure he is good but he has all the tools almost any quarterback could be good with his tools.

Records - They’re meant to be broken.
