Cowboys Win!!

Just though I’d start a thread where Harry can post up his pics as part of losing the bet.

It was a great game. Especially since the Cowboys pulled it out with 6 seconds left on the clock.

Fucking absurd.

No - absurd is the Giants having almost 100 yards in penalties.

A few weeks ago, I don’t think anybody would have guessed that they would be leading the NFC East…and certainly not by two games.

Things are starting to get interesting!

Mufasa

As much as I don’t like them, they are probably the best team in the NFC right now.

Great job done by both Tony Romo and Eli Manning in a much needed game by both squads. I’m a Cowboy fan so of course i was sweating bullets up to the last second of the game winning kick!

Thats what I was refering to. Their terrible discipline that “coughlin was so big into” because, it shows and all.
I’ve seen more discipline from 9 year old kids.

No disagreement here, then. WTF was Plaxico thinking with the cheapshot 10 feet from the ref?

Can anyone discipline this team? Coughlin should think long and hard about retirement planning.

Yeah, seriously. That was blatantly obvious.

…again, fucking absurd.

Think about how good Tuna feels. Benched Bledsoe for Romo. Released Vanderjagt and signed Gramatica. He’s working his magic.

I’ve been a Dallas Cowboys fan for all of my young life. I grew up when the Cowboys were “America’s Team”…back when Aikman, Smith, Sanders, Irving, and Moooooooooooooooooooose were still playing together.

Then Emmitt started to slow down, Aikman kept getting concussions, Irving got turf toe, and a few got arrested for drug charges. I had to go through years of losing and pain.

It’s so nice to be a winning team again!

tell me about it, if we can get the number two seed in the nfc we have a strong chance of going to the superbowl

I’m not particularly a Cowboys fan and I don’t really, follow football much, but that was a good moment. We had it on in the restaurant and I was keeping some of my guests posted if they couldn’t see the screens. The whole restaurant (90+ tables) cheered.

I hate the cowboys…and then I come to Tnation and get treated to a thread about them…they suck

I can’t say best in NFL. Right now I would say the Chargers without a doubt.

Too bad they’re gonna get spanked by the Saints next week.

One thing is sure about that game next week, it’s already making me drool… Man that is going to be a great game.

Damn I love football.

As for the Cowboys, they’ve got all their mojo working right now and Romo can’t do anything wrong. And what’s more, he’s fun to watch. I mean an absolute blast like Favre was back in his day. Romo’s performance against Tampa on turkey day was nothing short of art.

For the sake of all you Cowboy fans, just pray that Owens stays the course and finally see’s the big picture.

B.

Along with the Giants losing, I’m a little upset that owens’ neck hasnt been broken yet.

That was an awesome game! But let’s not start making reservations for the Super Bowl just yet. The Cowboys are on a good run but there was some luck involved there too. The face of past and potentially future meltdowns occurred when guess who? Flozell Adams pulls up and gets a penalty that puts the Cowboys five yards back right there at the end. Flozell is lucky Gramatica made it. Da Bears, the Seahawks, the Saints, etc. The road to the superbowl in the NFC will not be easy.

Four hours of sitting in the cold, watching my beloved New Jersey Football Giants stink up the place, only to watch some 97-year-old kicker win the game for the fuckin’ Cowboys.

Thoughts:

– The final score was a lot closer than it should have been. Except for Jeremy Shockey and Brandon Jacobs (discounting that fourth-and-inches, which was the fault of the call, not him), everyone sucked. Plaxico Burress needs a pep talk with a ballpeen hammer.

– How much time, exactly, did the Giants think they shoudl give Tony Romo? Four minutes a play? The DL and LB’s were generally so far away from him, it would have been a long distance call just to chat.

– No heart. Just no fucking heart at all. Before the game, Michael Strahan was walking around the field in street clothes, dancing to the PA. When the entire season is on the line, if you can walk you can play.

– This is two weeks in a row Kiwanuka has done something stupid. He’s turning into the Leon Lett of the Northeast.

And, finally…

One good thing did come from this game: Coughlin’s gone. Fired at last, fired at last, thank Mara almighty, he is fired at last.

I’m leaving for the mall now with my camera and cowboy hat. Pictures will be up soon.

(Goddamm, I wish we had just bet money.)
