In the next week or two, i plan to start CW’s triple total training. I searched around, and i really couldn’t find feedback from people who did the program.
So, for those that have followed this program, i’m curious, what kind of results have you had,hypertrophy, strength, and possibly even work capacity wise?
I am halfway done with a 3 week version of TTT. It has been going good, i like CW’s 3 day design where I get weekends off. I’m taking an extra day off for Xmas, but it seems like a solid program.
The low rep strength day is what I am used to and I just wish I could do back extensions better than a swiss ball and holding a plate to my chest, but it gets the job done.
The high rep endurance day is a killer, shorter workout but 24 bodyweight dips is a killer. This is by far the hardest day, especially mentally.
I love the third speed work day. Low rep, high effort, speed. Plyo pushups and Box squats I supersetted and then supersetted situps and speed rows. Overall I like it so far, Quattro Dynamo had a similar workout template and I thought that program was awesome, a little better than this one.
As far as progress goes, all I can really tell you is I feel great and refreshed with the 3 different goals. After doing weighted plyo-pushups the next strength day of decline bench was real easy compared to the weak before, so I can assume I am gaining strength, endurance, and speed with this program. Who doesn’t want that. Killing 3 birds with one stone.
