@BrickHead

Guy was trolling you and in your rational line-by-line defense you fed him. He hit every single one of your buttons:

"You’re small, you don’t know anything, TRT is cheating, your physique sucks and so do bro splits. "

Not worth your time. Just a garden variety troll.

Come on, though you may not agree or like what he wrote calling him a troll is like calling someone a racist, Nazi, etc. For not agreeing with you. He presented some arguments and brick responded. I see no issue

Ernest scared stupid.

he sounded like a troll to me. it came across as too personal and too targeted to be otherwise.

Good work man! Classic!

Perhaps but, it could just be a call out. The guy mentioned John Meadows, I believe you read that thread and I believe it was uncalled for. To say someone looks unhealthy, has signs pre- palumboism, etc while not knowing them personally nor their medical history is a bit weird. Also, mentioned Israetel, bricks little dig at coaches not looking the part while perhaps overlooking client results. The whole TRT thing, that can be argued for a while. In the past I argued and still believe that TRT use makes one no longer natural. Too aggressive a bit douchey maybe but, to instantly be called a troll I don’t agree with. It takes away the possibilty for discussion.

Being that this is a Bodybuilding training thread, I figure I’ll show a man who likely gained 44 pounds of natural muscle. And that’s isn’t a noob gain in a year or less, which would be near a pound of muscle per week if it were so, but more like what a gifted natural gains in all his years lifting. IMG_6545

@xXSeraphimXx given the fact that this was the very first sentence our new friend Brian led off with, I’m inclined to believe he wasn’t looking for civil discourse.

The good thing is, he does 5/3/1, so he’s got that goin’ for him. Which is nice.

Is there anybody on T-Nation that hasn’t done 5/3/1? I thought you couldn’t get a screen name until you ran it for a month. At which point you scream “I’ve tried everything and can’t get results!”.

No offense to Wendler. It’s a great program. I’m on it now.

I did it for a long time and have every 5/3/1 book, including the latest one. So much for me thinking only bro splits are good or that everyone who goes to a gym needs to do a bro split.

I never did 531. I’ve tried and examined for rationale countless programs over the years and come to a couple of conclusions (disagree if you want, I don’t mind):

1- it’s not complicated to stimulate growth if you understand the few basic pathways and how to set the process in motion with your training and support it with proper nutrition.

2- there’s a huge difference in taking suggestions from people who have specialized in optimal hypertrophy themselves (and with clients), and from people who have focused, maybe even excelled, in other areas and their own (and clients) results have born fruit albeit in areas other than optimal hypertrophy.

Me either. I’m holding out until they figure out how to work the ‘4’ and the ‘2’ into it.

That’s when you know the program has sold out.

I have never done it nor considered it,

Same, haven’t done 5/3/1. I really, really like the Indigo Programs from Thibs, anyone else tried those?
