Creatine while dieting?

ok, I’ve been in a gaining mode for the past two months, and while I am noticable ‘thicker’, I havent gotten a bit on the soft side. So I figured I’d drop the later day carbs, add a little MD6, and hopfully tighten up about 5 lbs or so. My question is regarding Creatine, I’ve been ingesting 5g for a while now, and I was wondering if it’s counterproductive while I’m on the MD6. I’m not shooting for single digit bf%, but just a month or so before I try to add a few more lbs. I recall reading (I think) somewhere that creatine can actually help keep higher T-levels while in a caloric deficit.
(I have a bottle of androsol laying around, I was thinking of also using 35 sprays twice a day to hopefully maintain my LBM)
Any thoughts would certainly appreciated.
