Cracked/Broken Ribs

I recently either cracked or broke a few ribs in the lower section of my ribcage on the left side. I’ve been told it’s going to be about a 2 month recovery. I’ve been told that I shouldnt do anything that hurts, and have only minimally tested out my ability in the gym, but can do some perpendicular movements. I’m like most of the people in here, and will go insane if I can’t workout at least in some capacity.

Any suggestions from people that may have some sort of experience with this?
