@Frank_C LOL I think the song is a little redneck but thought the same thing when I was trying to come up with a new name :joy: It works for this situation!

@duketheslaya they do and it seems more frequent here lately but it always comes back around I guess. I need to make a point of changing my thinking whenever I start going toward the negative :nerd_face:

I was going to suggest training grip & pooling the minds of T Nation together to see what you could do to work around the reason your doc told you ā€œnot to liftā€. But, just read some of the abdominal stuff, that’s active in almost every kind of training/exercise, especially grip. So, sounds like you should keep recovering. I personally would just walk frequently, if it were allowed & didn’t aggravate/exacerbate the issue etc. Something to clear my head. Walking is underrated. Not being able to train (exert effort) can become very frustrating, definitely been in that boat several times.

@adarqui well that was very nice of you to want to help me and I appreciate the thought! Yes I have been doing a lot of walking which hasn’t been too bad especially on the weekends where I can rest a little more. I’m looking forward to seeing what the therapist tells me this week so I can do whatever needs to be done. Working out is my way of taking the stress off and being calm so I’ve had to be a little creative on new skills. Thank you again for being so helpful!
