Now that’s a victory in and of itself. And, of course, congrats on your transformation. Hey, how much weight did you gain back over the days after your competition?
One of the girls at work was really impressed. I mentioned that you were going to compete and she said “Is that the guy with the big legs”, which it was, and she couldn’t believe the change.
From my perspective, you used to have what I would call a fighter physique. You looked like someone who was used to doing damage. But now you look like, dare I say it, a bodybuilder! Your symmetry has come up, your posing looks greatly improved, and your v-taper looks tight. I will be interested in seeing where you go from here.
Awesome. Thanks Mr.Z.
I have always wanted to have the “pretty” physique. I think it fits my personality. I have had times in my life where I have been considered “intimidating,” and I have never liked it. Especially when I had my head shaved and had a moustache/goatee combo. I am finally closer to what I have always wanted to look like and I don’t have that “scary” look anymore, which I found could be advantageous in certain situations but didn’t at all fit my personality.
Funny thing. One thing a LOT of people mentioned (of course they were the ones who lived here who could see my face) was the fact that I was smiling for the entirety of my show. Most of the other guys looked like they were squeezing out a kidney stone, but I actually looked like I was enjoying myself up there
Cortes, excellent job well done. I don’t do much posting, but you deserve all the praise for your accomplishments on this cycle. This is true dedication and hardwork. I can’t wait for your future progress.
Okay, I’m done “dick riding” you. (no homo)
We will not tolerate any occurrences of the phrase that you slapped onto the end of that sentence that is often seen in the shit-hole that is BB.com.
Cortes, you have it way too good. I am VERY partial to oriental women, and I very much so wish I lived in Japan for that very reason. Back in college, the oriental girls would constantly flirt with me even though they barely spoke English. They were also attracted to my strength apparently unlike the western girls who only care about abs’n’arms.
What I like about oriental women is that they make themselves very available when they’re single, and not in a slutty way. They make the kill very easy, and personally, love, dating, romance and sex are things that I don’t care to make a sport out of in terms of acquiring it. And yes, I do enjoy romance.

Holy Crap! Cortes, you look phenomenal! It looks like you put those others to shame, even from their partial shots. Absolutely great – you should be proud.
What does your wife think of your physique?
You know what, man, my wife could pretty much not give a damn what I look like. I mean, she appreciates the fact that I am a good looking guy (yes, I am), but she really doesn’t give a damn about the muscles.
Funny thing is, I am the envy of almost all Japanese men, from whom I constantly hear the word “macho” as I walk by; and I get aggressively (very much so) flirted with by Japanese women. It’s funny. Just being a Westerner here will get you labeled as “kakkoii” (cool), but if you are a guy with big muscles and have a pretty face, you positively become Superman. I’m not joking.
The great thing for me is that I seriously feed off of it, and my wife is completely cool with the fact that I am so “desired.” Heh. The irony lies in the fact that she loves me for me sense of humor. She’s super hot, too, as MsM can back up, so I guess I am married to a real Jessica Rabbit.
The JN I dated while there pointed out our differing facial bone structures, like the bridges of our noses. Westerner’s are pronounced, whereas Asian’s are flat. Maybe she was just too polite to tell me I had a big nose. The point being, I had wondered if we were considered unattractive because of the physical differences. Of course, I suppose being a muscle man, who the hell is looking at your nose?
I’m sure it’s not all of them, but a very, very large number of Japanese women appear to find the Western male facial structure extremely attractive. Or they seem to like me, at least I happen to find the asian female facial structure extremely attractive, myself, so we’re all even.

Concur…absolutely concur…
EDIT: Although I’m sure Cortes is as hot as he says, I meant the latter portion of the aforementioned statement…at least outwardly. Ahem.
Bro, nice work getting your slice on. I just got up to speed on what went down in your show and you looked awesome.
I was nodding and laughing at the post about what it felt like during the de-carb week… rather be kicked in the nuts than go through it, but carbing up is the best high ever haha…telling yourself, no f’ing way I’d ever do this again…then as soon as it’s over can’t wait for the next time lol…
That was a good weight for you where you came in, I think I said that before in a post that you would come in nicely around 190 and you were pretty bang on getting there so whatever you did it works well, I might mix the last week of the diet up a little this time around after seeing how well it worked out for you…
again awesome job man, you have the first one under your belt so if you’re feeling the way I do, the next one we’re bringing home a cup
Hey, thanks for posting, welavin! I was hoping you would drop by to follow up. I appreciate all the kind words. And now, a couple of weeks from the day it’s amusing to be reminded of what I felt like in the week before.
Of course I am completely dedicated to doing this again next year (and yes, coming in Number 1). And I’m sure that in those last couple of weeks, I’m going to be having the same feelings of misery and regret. What the hell, right now I look forward to it
Cortes I know this is a late post and my very first so don’t know how much weight it carries. But wanted to let you know that this blog is what turned me onto this forum. It’s awesome to see that you saw it through man. I see a Test Tren DBol cycle comin in the near future!
