Cookies n Cream Whey

what the hell can i mix this stuff? they were out of chocolate. I need a good midnight snack shake… right now i just use 2-3 scoops whey, 2 bananas, and 16 oz milk. with the chocolate i would add p.butter and vanilla extract. what could i throw in to bump up the calories?

Why on earth would you want whey at midnight? Do you workout around that time? Else, get yourself some proper pre-bed protein like casein or eat cottage cheese.

cottage cheese gives me the shits, shits+midnite = no sleep. i have whey and i’m not buying casein.

so, anyone have any ideas regarding the previous question?

Try the same thing you’ve been doing, probably tastes just as good. Kind of like a vanilla shake instead of chocolate.

That and some olive oil will provide more calories and also slow the digestion of the whey.

I hope you’re a hardgainer though. That many calories as a pre-bed snack would turn me into a blimp!

I’ve gone through a tub of that stuff before - I’ve done olive oil, coconut oil, peanut butter, almond butter, ground flax seeds, whole milk yogurt, etc.

hardgainer, not exactly, just dont have the time to cook real food all the time with 1yr old girl, wife’s job, my job(Marine) and 1 vehicle. so i think i’ll buy some cinnamon to make it taste better too
