Calvinist you haven’t backed up your claims with anything remotely close to scientific literature. Don’t just say you are right, show us why you are right.

Unless you have had a colonic don’t comment. I know there is alott of macho bullshit that makes it seem faggy but its not.
All I can say is Ive had digestive problems for awhile, and colonics are a great help. Its very cleansing, you’ll feel lighter.
When I start to feel loagy, and kind of heavy I know its time for a colonic.
FYI, my hydrotherapist is hot! so ha!
Anyone who eats 7 to 8 meals a day of BB foods will have some less than desireable material in there.
I wonder if anyone who’s ripping on it would go try it, then COMMENT>
GREAT POINT!!! There’s ALOT, and I mean ALOT of ignorance on this site, and not just about this issue. This site has some of the worst advice I’ve seen. I guess I got what I deserve, BAD information.
It sounds like “good advice” would be anything that supports what it is that you want to do.
For everyone else, here’s what you get when you ask a digestive system specialist:
"Doctors don’t recommend colon cleansing for better health or to prevent disease. The only appropriate use for colon cleansing is in preparation for a medical examination of the colon.
Your colon normally eliminates waste material and bacteria and absorbs water and sodium to maintain your body’s fluid and electrolyte balance. Some colon-cleansing programs disrupt this balance and can be harmful by causing dehydration and salt depletion.
To help prevent constipation, eat plenty of fiber. The Institute of Medicine offers these daily recommendations:
* 38 grams for men and 25 grams for women 50 and younger
* 30 grams for men and 21 grams for women 51 and older
Also, drink plenty of water, which helps fiber work more effectively."

Why don’t you WRITE PAUL CHEK and rip on him?
Because the examples he is using are of people that demonstrate the worst case scenario.
The majority of people here stay hydrated, get probiotics from natural sources like youghurt and cottage cheese, eat plenty of vegitables, and poop on a regular basis.
Damn, man, I took care of a quadraplegic for 12 years who had better bowel functions that the examples of problems Chek gave.
Want to know why?
Because he ate a decent healthy diet.
(quads are prety well known through out the medical community for poor bowel motility)
If you need someone like Paul Check to tell you to stick a hose up your ass, you don’t need him. You need a dominatrix.
How about a pina colonic???

I have to have them do enemas usually first thing in the morning, middle of the day, and sometimes at night. They’ve actually got to swell the colon up to trigger the stretch receptors to encourage it to push back and move the bowel. Essentially, you’re almost like potty training your colon again.

This is actualy dangerous. Aside from being extremely irritating to the tissue of the colon, and damaging to the mucose membrane that facilitates regular bowel function, it sounds like a good way to perforate it, which in some cases is deadly.
He just crossed the line from stupid to medicaly negligent.
Also, it would be good to point out that if the colon is so full of miscelaneous debris, it should not need to be stretched, should it? It would already be stretched.
