Coleman 2250lb Leg Press

The scariest part for me: unless my ears were deceiving me, I think Coleman yelled, “Gotta get huge!”

He must not own any mirrors.

I hate skinny or out of shape people who joke around loudly in the gym. If you weigh damn near 300lbs in contest shape, clearly you have earned the right to joke around a little as it is clear you are still focused more than most people will ever be. However, if you weigh 150lbs and have turned gym time into your personal comedy/horse around hour, expect for people to wish you were dead.

To me, that is Superhero crap. That is the 9th world wonder. In the end someone says, “You want more?’ and someone says, there ain’t any more.”

Let’s give a round of applause to the maker of that sled.

Actually (and you might be right, but I’m going from my knowledge of random Ronnie-isms), I think he was saying, “Gotta get geeked. BOOOOO!”

Where you made the error was in thinking something Ronnie says in the gym makes grammatical and logical sense.

And that wasn’t even the start of his leg workout as if I recall correctly. He did this after some heavy squats and assorted leg torture.[/quote]

He is a machine, was lucky enough to see him train legs/back when he came to Oz for the last Pro show, just blows you away, incredible weight and workrate, awesome to see, videos just don’t do the man justice.

I used to workout at Metroflex in Arlington at the same time as Ronnie. It was awesome and inspirational with him in the gym. Definitely did not suck.

if you get a chance to watch that whole video (Cost of Redemption) there is a point in it where he is doing arms and he states “gotta do more, gotta get these arms bigger, their not big enough yet” i wish i had that 23" problem hanging from my shoulders.

yes, i hate idiots too, but i didnt think ronnie was goofing off, he just looked like he was having fun

All I can say is wow… I bet if he wanted to he could compete in the WPO right now. We’ve all seen him squat 800+ for a few reps and he can probably bench 500 it’s not winning #'s in the WPO but it is pretty frickin impressive. What a freak say what you want about whatever the hell he does but the man obviously works his ass off and is VERY strong.

That clip should be on file for all of the people who claim that Bodybuilders are not strong.

Someone email that clip to Matt Furey too…

You see Ronnie and you know he must be strong, but for me , its only when ive seen these clips of him, that its really hits me how strong he really is.seriously impressive.

Again , Ronnie is doing these lifts, after some serious leg work, he isnt “fresh”

think im going to get a DVD or two of Ronnies.good stuff.

I’m just glad people are paying attention now.

Hey Prof, you have a bunch of his video’s right? Have any recommendations?

Thanks

That clip was from “Cost of Redemption.” Before he did the 2250lb leg press, he did leg several sets of leg extensions with the whole stack and a plate hanging and then proceeded to do several sets of squats, stepping his weight up to a last set of 800lbs for a few reps! This was filmed before the 2003 Mr. Oympia. That footage is 3 years old! Imagine what he is doing now! He has had three more years of serious training since then.

Just sit back and let that digest for a while. The man is uncanny. He is a beast.

But, but, he didn’t pay $1197 for the Super Platinum Gama Fitness series that shows 50,000 different ways to do bodyweight squats, so he can’t possibly be strong.

Yes. All of them.

He’s funny just to watch. He seems laid back the entire time like he acts just like that when the cameras aren’t around. I have put his videos on when I am cleaning the apartment. It keeps my mind on going to lift later.

I totally agree.

Of course, Furey isn’t the first guy to come along with that nutty claim. I wonder who perpetuated this myth?

Oh wait…never mind…I know. Everyone who DOES NOT lift weights.

Prof, is that redemption one the latest video?

And whats the deal with this BB “camp” he has every year. Its something like you get to hang out and train with him for a couple of days down in TX. Thats something I would love to do man.
