Let me start off by saying these are one of the ballsiest methods of recovery. But I still have some questions
How cold should the water be? I don’t need an exact degree obviously, but I mean relatively cold or ice cold?
Secondly should I shower the area I want to recover such as legs and lower back, or just go full in, head and all?
Today I did ice cold and all in. The amount of adrenaline I received was absolutely ridiculous. I may end up trying the ice pack on the stomach for ME days.
I do contrast showers after workouts. Hot as I can take it… then as cold as it will go, for two or three cycles. It does seem to help recovery and it’s nice and refreshing.
There’s no reason to overthink it though. It’s not like you can make tap water any colder than it comes out the pipe. Just do whatever feels right.

You can get a plastic tub(big enough to get in) and fill it with ice water. Then you can go from the hot shower to the ice tub, super contrast method![/quote]
I kinda prefer the shower method. But that is a GREAT idea. I think that I just don’t like to go balls first into anything(except a woman)… especially ice cold water. My manhood is the main act, the piece de resistance if you will. The rest of me is just the warm-up for it.
