Starting a log here of my workouts. I need to start tracking weights and remembering how much I used last week.
Using the Meltdown training program on this site.
This is gunna be a tough week. Im in Florida right now, and that means LOTS of good food (which isnt too great for fat loss) and I have a VERY limited space in which to workout. Its basically like a bowflex, but crappier. I think I may be able to still accomplish something, but Ive had to make modifications to the program to fit my situation.
Height: 5 foot 9 inches
Weight: 170 pounds
BF%: Approx 13-15 %
Goal: 160 at 9%
Diet will be 40/30/30 Carbs/protein/fat. Approx 1900 calories a day. 40% carbs may sound crazy to some, but Ive always been able to lose weight this way.

First day of program. Did all I could with the limited equipment.
3 Circuits, 10 reps of each
A1. Pull downs 160 lbs, close grip palms toward, 3 seconds down, 1 second up, no rest
A2. Leg Press 300 lbs 3 seconds up, 1 second down, no rest
A3. Push ups BW 3 seconds up, 1 second down, no rest
A4. Single Leg BW deadlift 3 seconds up, 1 second down, no rest
2 circuits, 10 reps
B1. Sitting Leg Crunches (Sat on bench, brought knees up to chest) 3 second pause at the top, BW
B2. Leg raises, BW, 3 seconds up, 1 second down
15 min warm up on elliptical, 40 min run on the beach

On tuesday, I did…
3 circuits, 10 reps*
A1. Shoulder presses, explode up, 3 seconds down
A2. Walking lunges, 1 second down, 3 up *did 20 reps, b/c they were bodyweight lunges
A3. Dips, BW, seconds up, 1 second down
A4. Cable Rows, 3 seconds up, 1 second down, 110 lbs
Forgot to do: 2 sets of 10, twisting crunches with 3 second hold.
40 min run on the beach
Today, Wednesday, was a rest day, but i still went for a 50 min run on the beach in the morning, and walked for about 2 hours today. My eating is getting to be a challenge, but once I get home, Im shure ill be able to get dialed in.
Damn, Damn, DAMN!
There is a problem with the weight room in the hotel Im staying at, so all I will be able to do is cardio on the beach. Did some on wednesday, some yesterday, none today. Cant wait untill monday, when everythings back to normal.
Yikes. Havent updated this in foreverrrrr. Well, things are going well. After I got back from florida, I completed what I will call my “official” week one of meltdown training. Its REALLY tiring, but I like doing it. Im weighing in at about 167-168 in the mornings, which is good.
Todays workout was:
Chin ups BW
Squats 165
Bench 55 DB’s
Deadlift 155
3 rounds, 10 reps, no rest in between exercises, 2 min rest between circuits, 3 second lifting portion, 1 second lowering.
Leg lifts 2x10 3 second lowering 1 second up
Twising crunch on Swiss ball 2x10 3 second pause
