Clear Up a Couple of Myths, Please

Hey, I got the olive part taken care of already. I see a glimmer of demand for my idea above, so coming soon to a store near you. #Capitalism

That roid dork outlined what he’s doing in his 30’s. Seems like a pretty good spell.

Hate to break it to you, but age does not equal wisdom. Sometimes age shows up to the party alone.

*20’s

Bro thinks capitalism=bad and communism=good so I guess I’m not surprised that he believes doing the bare minimum will grant him everything he wants.

My mistake, I thought you were 30-something.

I am now, just barely. Most of that happened in my late 20s, though.

Bro just mad that someone younger than him is outperforming him at everything. I understand - I’d feel bad were I in his shoes too.

Well, I do have an olive or two a day, but instead of celery I have a couple of baby pickles. Does that count?

I didn’t say communism is good.

All I said was capitalism is a myth. Communists are capitalist.

Capitalism controls you. You go where the capital is whether you like it or not.

God this is tiring.

Look, man…

Its been a slow day at work, alright?

I’ve had those days Andrew, but you’re arguing online with an actual cretin. We are talking about a medically diagnosable level of cretinism.

Fuck me, you’re right. Im gonna go get myself tested.

Wish me luck

Good luck.

…….uhh… Come to think of it I should probably get tested too.

@Cretin78 let’s not do the political stuff in this sub. There’s a sub forum specifically for it.

If you are barely 30 than you certainly should out perform me.

If anything me out performing you will be very bad for you.

Yes I kinda f-ed up in my 30s that was when I lost my job to a very bad economy and I had to learn a complete new skill and get an education which I got done in my early 40s. Training took a back seat, I was only lifting once every 2-weeks I was doing only squat and deadlift and nothing else. I also hurt my disk on a deadlift. I was not interested in what the training fads were, I was concerned about not being homeless. But I was still at least lifting.

My body completely changed cause I focused on career and I wasn’t in my 20s where I could just warmup with 315 deads which I did that a lot or at least 225. Yes that was stupid but I was young. I didn’t care about bigger arms back then, now I care about stuff cause I’m old.

I not only have a poverty genetics but a poverty gym, no bench, no racks. When I squat I tilt the bar on the shoulders or clean and press it and do high reps. No machines.

But Andrew you sound like a roid raged cry baby, earlier in this thread you had your roid vent about being sick of trainers posting on here, well who cares Sally. Worry about yourself. while you are having your melt down, I’m lifting and getting better.

You don’t really tend to respond to me, which is fine; I don’t think I’m offering a ton of interest to you. This particular comment, however, strikes me as ironically good advice; you, yourself, seem to need a bit more external validation than I would personally consider helpful.

Even this feels a little out of place following 5 paragraphs of excuses/ explanations. I don’t care how you lift, and I have never, ever, felt like it was my place to tell someone what their goals should be; if you’re happy with what you’re doing, I’m happy for you. I just can’t help but think you’re projecting just a bit while seeking approval from other posters.

I could be completely off-base, in which case - great! Keep on keeping on. In any case, I will certainly offer a kudos to doing what you enjoy.

There’s a difference between being poor and being broke.
Broke is temporary.
Poor is a mindset.
Everything about you tells me you aren’t broke.

45 year old still whining about working… grow the fuck up.

You did more to ruin your meager reputation than I did in this thread… and you don’t even see it.

Putting your whiny skinny fat excuses riddled twink ass back on mute.

No excuses here Mr capitalist.

I’m actually proud to do things the hard way, a great way to squat is high reps and horse it on the shoulders with no rack.

100+ reps then going yo utter failure = bare minimum, ok Mr capitalist, lol.

I mean, there are plenty of outstanding male age 45+ physiques on these boards, along with guys that age with mad strength. If you just skim the logs that tend to stay near the top of the “latest” list, you’ll see them. As well as 50+, 60+, and even 70+.

Everyone has life shit to deal with. Everyone has excuses. Personally, working at a gym was initially a part time second income thing for me. Because I was broke and needed money. And wanted gym things for free.
