Chris Shugart: A Teaser?

Okay, Chris…you have REALLY got the Lion intrigued about the upcoming “Two-a-Day” program. Now I know you guys are working hard and it should be out soon, so maybe just a small “drop of water” for all us anxious ones? The Question: The problem with the Two-a-Day" programs that are often advocated by the Mags and the Pro’s was recovery (which they overcome with Anabolics). So…I take it that we are going to be hit with some combination of diet/pre and post workout nutrient protocol/“super” supplement stack to aide in both recovery and anabolism? Again…this really should be awesome! Can’t wait!

Yep, you’re on the right track. The premise I shot at John was simple: “Muscular growth doesn’t come in a steady predictable manner. Sometimes an experienced trainee goes for months without a pound of lean muscle gain and then, all of a sudden, he’s up five lean pounds. So, how do we prepare for and ultimately trigger such a growth surge?”

The whole program is 6 weeks long and has three two week stages all with different training and diet needs. (Only one stage involves twice-daily training.) The program should work great for the natural trainee, but he will need to be meticulous with recovery supplementation and not blow off the recovery phase of the program. We hope to provide built-in calculators to help everyone figure calorie intake for each stage.

So I assume for a drug user it will really kick ass then Chris?

Should work great for a juicer. Might want to bump up the volume a bit though.

Do you know when to expect this article to be finished? Reason I ask, is that I plan to go on a mass phase while using finasol and would like to give the program a try for the first six weeks. Can’t wait for the program…

Scott- I hope to put the final touches on it today. Not sure when we’ll run it though. This week is already planned and so is part of next week’s issue. Plus, the computer guys will have to make the calculators, if we decide that’s feasible. So I’m guessing you may see it in around 3 weeks or so. Also, keep in mind that TC is the final judge; heck, he may not even like the article!
