It’s kind of a cluster fuck lol but I like it. This past week I did …
Bench: 5x5 with 75% (stalled for awhile while even gaining a few lbs so thought it was time just to refresh something)
Squat: 3x3 with the normal percentages and 1 joker cause I was feeling good but my form broke down bad on that last set (knees caving in)
OHP and Dead: 3x3 with normal percentages
For everything but bench it goes…
Week 1: 3x3 normal percentage and AMRAP
week 2: 5x5 with normal percentages
Week 3: 5/3/1 with normal percentages and AMRAP

Cycle 5 week 2 day 1
BENCH
5x3 with 230 everything felt really good

WIDE GRIP PAUSED BENCH
Top set x .9
205x3 1 sec pause
205x3 3 sec pause
205x3 5 sec pause my damn upper back about had a cramp from trying to stay tight

SS BENCH
225x10

INCLINE DB
80x12
80x5 lol

some banded flies and cross body DB extensions

Woke up today and my upper back and traps are so sore…I think I finally have my bench set up right.

Looolll now just wait until your legs are sore from leg drive. I was talking to josh McMillan and he was telling me that he pulled his quad benching.

A good bench setup should become mostly uncomfortable. For me my low back gets a bit stiff so I stretch by touching my toes in between sets. Also as each working sets progress I try to get a little tighter and add a bit more leg drive, on my last 5/3/1 set I can’t get any tighter and my hamstrings start to get crampy feeling. Which I now revel as a sign that the set will go Well… lol

Made a tweek to my deadlift day you may find interesting. Keeping 3x3 isa must …but I added another layer*

5/3/1 deadlift -amrap last set

3x3 @90 percent of top set from a deficit-amrap last set

Deadlift stance highbar pause squats @ 80 percent of top set.- still working on exact program here so first cycle my goal is one set of 5 @80 with 2 previous sets of 5 working up to the top set…so 3 x5 total but pyramids s.

It has a similar feel to the 3x3 sets leg drive wise. The original idea is that you deadlift stance box squat to a box that is the exact height of your deadlift starting position. I’m trying full range of motion pausing atg to see what carry over I can get. There is another reason- as a one day a week squatter I get really sore everytime I squat.

I’m hoping this could carry over also as another squat day simultaneously. Even tho its diff stance its still highbar pause squatting( I highbar squat). Aka I need to get better at squatting as well… reducing soreness would be a double bonus!

The weights are going to start feeling light, since your running the Mcjuice, it;s kinda cheating
