squats were short and sweet today. played in a golf tournament yesterday. sunburned, congested and tired. my shoulder is not real happy with me either.

The Iowa State Fair push/pull has come and gone. Judged 5 flights on DL. Long day and a short night. Had several teammates hit PRs in bench and DL. Beau Moore hit an easy 735 opener (looked like speed work). He missed 805 twice. I’ve seen him pull well over 800 in the past. may have been on off day for him. He did bench 560 with no lift off. He prefers to unrack it himself. Nick Weite (#1 275 single ply) was loading plates, Both of these guys are what is right with this sport.

Talked with teammate and he suggested all DL work aside from block pulls to be off 1 plate deficit. All work will be standard bar. Ditching the DL bar until meet day. This was given to him from Paul Nguyen.
