Cheat Day

I was just wondering if anyone thinks this is too much, my girl just said I was a pig? 6 pieces of pizza, 2 beers, 2 cookies, not all at once, all through the day. During the week I am super strict and I am around 7-8% BF. I allow myself one day to eat like this and this is usual sometimes less, but I have done this for years and was wondering if this is too counterproductive. Thanks

Ask your mirror. It doesn’t lie. If it doesn’t turn you into a lardass, then enjoy. Just keep it to once per week at the most.

Not at all. Once every now & then won’t hurt.

dont worry, i usually eat a 18 in. pizza or a 12 peice meal from kfc for my “cheat” meal. But its alright most people eat that shit on a daily basist.

you call that a cheat day??? if your only gonna eat 6 pieces of pizza it better be loaded with toppings. If your not trying to diet into low digit bodyfat and your diet is good the rest of the week then it won’t hurt you. when I was dieting down for contest prep I stopping at 5% bodydfat, from 7%-5% I couldn’t cheat if i wanted to keep dropping but once I hit 5% i was able to cheat 1 day a week…usually on wing night at a bar. Would Dozers bodyfat be a few tenths of a percent higher the next day…yes. BUT since I didn’t need to get lower than 5%, in a 3-4 days I’d be back at 5% flat.

If it were only a 6-slice pizza and your girl wanted some but you ate all 6 slices, I guess she is right. Or if it were the last 2 beers or the last 2 cookies in the house, she might think your a pig. But as far as quantity goes, it sounds like you’re on a diet to me. I would lose weight, but not fat, on a diet like that for the entire day.

Sounds like dieting to me. If you still can breathe, if you are not losing consciusness from insuline rush, if your stomach is not compressing your lungs, you are not cheating. Balls to the wall when cheating says I!
