Changing a Fat Boy

Nice work so far. You might want to take some before pictures so that you can put up a side by side once you reach your goal.

Also, good job cleaning up the diet. Looks pretty good to me. The fat should be coming off in no time man.

  • Edit: I meant to say some more before pictures, i.e. side view.

im 289 6’1 atm

Ive just started dieting also about 3 weeks ago, my best advice is if you break down and have something bad for lunch…have a good dinner dont just give up because of one bad day, you will feel a lot better after eating clean for awhile…more energy…happy in general and the excitement of knowing you can be a new person in a very short amount of time going from 360 down to 320…300…260…220…180 every couple of pounds gives you new energy you wont believe how better you feel and look when you’ve dropped some weight

Good to hear. Keep on track and the weight will come off. This is about the big and little changes that accumulate to a drastic change over time.

Are you starting the log in the Training Logs section?[/quote]

Keep on keeping on, dude. Take it from me, a FFB - Consistency is the name of the game. As long as you stay on track and visualize your goals, you will get the results you want.

Keep on keeping on. I do have one problem with everything that has been going on. While you def are making progess from what I have read, I almost feel ou cut cals too drastically too fast

To maintain weight at 350 lbs you would have to eat a little over 3800 calories (350 times 11)
so taking over 1000 calories out of your diet and increasing you exercise is going to drop between 1000-2000 calores from what you had been eating.

While I agree it is not out of this world, in terms of keeping you on a restricted diet, don’t go crazy if you eat 3000 cals in a day, as that will still lead to weight loss. (about 1.8 lbs per week) not including exercise.

At 350 lbs though, I would say if you could handle it, HUGE IF, find your LBM(lean body mass) and consume only enough calories to maintain that. It might be extreme but Im sure you’ve seen the biggest loser competitiors, those cats lose 10+ lbs a week because they follow something similar to this strategy. Its only for the morbidly obese.
