Been following Thib’s Push focus deal he wrote about with some success (no more creaky shoulders, push muscles definitely looking fuller) but my bench numbers aren’t going up. (routine linked)
My problem is, I really would like to get my bench numbers up, but I’m not quite sure where my weakness is, other than I just can’t seem to operate under heavier weights. It may be that I’m just not staying tight, but I don’t really have objective eyes to let me know (no video camera currently)… What programming would you recommend for getting my bench numbers up? My DL seems to be progressing ok too, but I wouldn’t mind trying out something new for it either.
At any rate, this whole “get strong all over” thing is proving a bit more of a challenge than I anticipated. Only things that have really improved dramatically is my curl strength and DB bench strength, so I’m not completely stagnant. Would you recommend following your 6-day routine you posted for the younger guy earlier in this thread?
