Well Rohnyn was arguing against a straw man, am I wrong to believe that you wouldn’t use a straw man argument after I just showed Rohnyn that it was a straw man argument, since there are no 18 year old priests or seminarians? His whole argument is based on the fact that these priests or seminarians are 18 years old. The age that one can become legally an adult is 16, why do we not just make an argument that the Catholic Church just sweeps these young boys out of the arms of their parents without looking at the mental/emotional and psychological maturity/intelligence of these young boys.

If you did you’d know that the paper work that a seminarian and someone attempting to enter the FBI had right around the same amount of paper work and background checks as each other. The only difference is the FBI has Federal resources.

How about the whole thing where that is not what the Catholic Church teaches? How about the fact that the Church teaches that only Jesus can save you, because he is final Judge and most just, and faith and works will not save you?
