The handles that is utilized for reverse flies can it be utilized and effective for working and building chest muscles?
Depends on the specific machine. You have to see for yourself if you can adjust it to do both.
The machine is a traditional pec dec/reverse fly machine. But i am curious is it normal and okay to use the reverse fly handles for chest isolation instead?
You have a picture? I’m having a hard time visualizing what you’re asking.
Are you asking if you can pronate your hands on a flye? If it’s comfortable, sure
Yes that is exactly what I mean. Thank you! ![]()
For some reason, I do feel a more intense stretch that way though
So the pronated grip is really just as effective as neutral grip in targeting chest?
It’s possible it’s More effective.
Pronated grip might also shorten your clavicles, so watch out! Measure your clavicle length before your first try, and remeasure every week to monitor.
It’s just a flye, man. I wouldn’t overthink it. Whatever feels good
I understand! Thank you for the insight. ![]()
