What size pants are you blowing the back out of? Because at 217lbs, I just don’t see it really being a problem for you.
Lol, I currently wear size 36 jeans. They’re loose around the waist but since my thighs/butt are large I’m forced to wear them (If my lower region was smaller, I’d probably be wearing 34s or 32s). My butt just sticks out too much. It looks even worse if I wear longer shirts.
I’ll be upgrading from my 38’s to 40’s soon (suit pants) so you have a few inches to go. But assuming you aren’t full of shit, yeah you have a decent sized ass for sure.
Really? Did you look at the picture? His ass doesn’t look big at all.
Trust me, I’m an expert in men’s asses.

I completely agree with you, that is why I put the “if you’re not full of shit” clause, because a 36 is starting to approach big status in my mind. He’s no Ronnie, and not wearing bed sheets for shirts to work like X, but he is getting there. But yeah, picture makes it look small.
I might go home and take a picture of my ass tonight, just for this thread…

Agreed. Some of these people have mental problems. I wear a size 44 pants and my waist is NOT that big. That is just so I can bend my knees without having my blood supply cut off…so when little guys start complaining because of their “massive” 36 pants, I can’t help but laugh.
What really sucks is I might have to move up a size soon if my legs get any bigger.
I have the big butt issue too. My glutes dominate pretty much all compound leg exercises. BUT instead of getting discouraged and stopping squats (which I love), I just keep them low rep and try to have the rest of my leg workout be more about isolating the quads or hams. I’ve also noticed that doing some leg extensions before squatting and focusing on my quads as I come out of the hole helps a lot, too.

I don’t understand the complaining. I have never had a woman say my ass is too big. If anything, they fucking LIKE THAT.
I used to have this “problem” when I was 14 years old… 5"10… and 126lbs! I had a “normal” butt on a skeletal frame. My butt shot out far in the back and when wearing a long t-shirt it would look weird. 5"10 hot chicks weigh more than 126 lbs… Did I atrophie my ass to match my 12 and a half inch arms? No… I built everything else up. This is not a problem.

I think it looks smaller in this pic (probably cuz my shirt is a bit baggy). In real life it looks bigger. It’s not sooo much that it’s BIG… but its out of proportion to my body. Using tape measure and going around the middle of my ass to the front… the tape reads 42in. My waist on the other hand (around the navel) is 34 inches.

Whoa there buddy… I’m not mentally/psychologically disturbed. I’m not suffering from some form of anorexia/manorexia/etc. Just because you wear 44in jeans doesn’t mean that 36in is tiny That’s like a 500lb guy tellin a 400lb guy he’s skinny (crappy example but u get my point, lol). It’s all about proportions. My torso isn’t thick, so I’d like my lower body to match as well.

No complaining. I just personally don’t want my ass to keep getting bigger, but that’s my preference. Plus, I take those steps because I want my legs to keep getting bigger, which is hard otherwise.
BTW, it’s true, chicks do dig a nice ass on a guy as much as guys do on girls.

But if your butt and legs are proportionately larger than they “should” be compared to the upper body, shouldn’t the focus be to grow the upper body and not “fix” legs?

True. But there’s a difference between believing a big ass will make you more attractive to women, and believing that a bigger ass will hamper you chances at scoring. If you’re worried about bodily change that much, I’d say that the problem is more to do with being overly concerned about how are perceived by other people rather than there being a glaring fault in your training.
I’d have thought that most people looking to gain strength and muscle would be excited by any visible progress, and not be trying to undo it.

I have to agree. It seems we still have some here who are in a bodybuilding forum but don’t seem to be bodybuilding that much.
If my biceps were too big, my goal would NOT be to make them smaller. It would be to make the rest of me bigger to match.
You have guys more worried about whether “these jeans make them look fat” than most girls lately.

I’ve got a big butt problems myself. I’m 5’11 and I weigh 217lbs. I get the feeling that some of you guys on here “think” you have big butts but really don’t. This is a big butt: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/8092/nikond80025.jpg[/quote] errrrr is that David Beckhams ass?
I’m not exactly sure what is going on, I have a man ass. It is big and round, I have never had a problem with finding jeans. Maybe because I understand pants come in 4-5 different fits per waist size, and know what a tailor is.
I wear a 38" waist relax fit, boot cut at 265, if I can fit my lard ass in a pair of jeans you can fit your 200 lb ± 20 body into a pair of jeans (probably even regulars).
And if you really are having trouble fitting your ass into a pair of jeans (go all the way to relaxed) buy some fucking cover-alls.
