Squats were a complete shit show… right glute started getting really pissed off. Paying me back from being too impatient and pulling heavy too soon after my covid layoff.

Apparently someone was covering their ass at the warehouse and had damaged it during the loading process. So who it was had marked it as loaded and shipped out. It had never actually left the facility ![]()

Squat: top set of 6 down 20% for 3x5… using a parallel box at the moment keeping myself from going excessively low. Allowing the piriformis to chill out
Step ups: 3x10
GHR: 3x10
Kneeling banded crunches: 5x10
Bench: played with my axel bar wanted to see how it felt with the left elbow . Since it clearing up from cubital tunnel ( golfers elbow) top set with 13 getting better .
Incline: 3 x5 @ Sw
Dips 3 x 10
Straight bar curls… no one cares
One arm db incline db curls: DGAF
Also did pull aparts between bench sets…

For some reason, these are hard for me.
Haven’t done them in a long time and when I did it was sporadic.
What issues do you have with them?

being realistic… hes behind in certain aspects where I was at his age. So I got that to comfort me.
It’s the stability thing. I feel them in the obliques and lower back more than anywhere.I guess that’s what they are for though.
Well just make sure your bracing properly. Or if your wanting to focus on the upper torso id go ahead and use your free hand and hold onto a rack or the like in helping with stability.
